Have you considered library of leng? It can let you skip discarding at end of turn which is run in some edh decks but usually not worth a card slot, but this one also lets you discard to the top of your library instead of GY, which could be useful in some cases. Like I said I havent played with Varina yet, but im thinking there could be some interactions discarding to your deck, first of which is discarding entreat the dead to the top of your deck.
Most of the other cards from Sheldon's article, I do sometimes play. Wound Reflection is, in my opinion, a perfectly fine card which allows aggro decks to speed up the clock a bit.
This was also the question I had about the article. He said it takes players out of the game emotionally, and I dont really know what that means, or why that is worse than another way of losing.
All in all I enjoyed this story, quite the sad ending though for our Kraul protagonist.
I thought it was more of a happy ending to be working for Mazirek, kraul death priest as a zombie than to be a zombie supervisor under the lich, who gave the devkarin apprentice many more opportunities.
I liked that they linked the previous story to this one with the tin street massacre/ boros poisoning, and I hope it is setting up for even bigger things. Although next week is Selesnya and we havent really seen them in any of the stories so far.

Thats true about the Gruul expansion, I forgot about that when rethinking about the story. In that case it was different from the other two in that it was showing a different guild's larger conflict in the story. Thanks for restating it with an easy explanation.

I didnt even think about the baby planeswalking, i thought it just did an invisibility spell, since they were mentioned a few times before in the story. It would be interesting if it was a pw, but I am not so sure.

Similarly, we have plans to tell stories in worlds our card sets aren't visiting. This means that we can revisit fan-favorite worlds in Magic Story just because we think people will enjoy it. It also means we can work closer with creative writers to choose and shape these stories without the constraints of what the card set is doing at the moment.
This seems really cool so we can get backstory for a world before the current block is on it. Im thinking, catching up with Elspeth or Koth, before we return to their planes in the cards.
And also Jay is now fact checking Wizards so hopefully their stuff will keep a much better continuity. Definitely my reason for creating this thread was for Jay. Congratulations!
The minute I saw Teferi's Protection previewed back in the day I knew there was going to be a high probability it would be a judge foil in about a year or two, so I held out and refused to get one (its pricing certainly helped) and today I'm proven correct. Going to have to keep an out for it now.
Does judge promo usually promote a price drop? I thought it was generally not enough printed to warrant a price change, but I havent paid that much attention.
I use this in my Bontu the glorified/ pestilence deck when I do a bunch of pestilence damage to everything then use simulacrum to put all the damage I took onto Bontu.
I spent some time trying to crack this, I sought help on a few subreddit threads like conlangs and code cracking. I tracked my worked a bit better in a forum that has since vanished =(.
But the bulk of my output was this:
I created vowel and consonant phenome breakdowns, so were one inclined they could attempt accurate translations. Having someone else get around to creating a concise syntax tree makes this even easier!

How has citywide bust worked out for you? It looks interesting but im not sure if I would play it.
