    Green and White are somewhat hard to come up with?

    Spectacle - 0 (You may cast this spell for its spectacle cost rather than its mana cost if an opponent lost life this turn.)
    T: Add R to your mana pool

    Mox Lapis 0
    Artifact - R
    3, T: Add 1 mana of any color to your mana pool. This ability costs 1 less to activate for each opponent.

    Assuming Faithless isn't banned - is there an activation cost you think would be "safe" in modern? I mean at this point, even with faithless, a 2 card combo (faithless + 2 land cards in your hand + Bridgmanite + fetch ) for an extra mana isn't bad. What is more since you're discarding land cards you are losing on future land drops. While that matter less as the game goes on - it matters a lot in the early turns, the turns when you want an active mox.

    For Bridgmanite, in larget formats, without discard it means it only activates turn 3 which is safe. With discard - the 3 land requirement is severe enough that combo won't be able to run it since they do not have enough lands.

    Best case scenario is:

    Turn 1 - Land + Accel
    Turn 2 - Land + Accel + Draw
    Turn 3 - Land + Oketra
    Turn 4 - Creature (1CMC) + Creature (1-2 CMC) + Goblin Bushwhacker

    In legacy you can do this:

    Turn 1 - Land (+ ManaDork)
    Turn 2 - Land - Neoform (if mana dork you can use Eldritch Evolution instead) + Vinedryad / Skyshroud Cutter --> Goblin Dark-Dwellers --> Neoform --> Sire of Insanity (if Evolution just skip right to Sire) + (you have room, I think to run Daze/FOW)

    So a pretty consistent, turn 2 way to get a 7/5 and hellbent everyone.

    Casting Become Immense using delve, making this a 7/9 and then attacking and casting Become Immense from the grave since his power is now 7 for free turning him into a 13/15 is a fun cheap combo.

    I think there was a misunderstanding in this post - I'm not trying to have my keyword become evergreen or replace the wording of future impulse type cards. My ask was essentially whether this could be a 5 color mechanic in a single set. (I was mostly thinking of have [Name] 2 to 3 replace cantrips in a hypothetical set. )

    Well, the idea is that there is nothing really philosophically white about scry either, or even drawing cards. Scry and card draw appear on all colors and artifacts. This ability is less than card draw and perhaps more than scry (not sure about that as it doesn't let you sculpt your hand) - either way in that philosophy (not in terms of "does this ability feel like this color" but in terms of "card draw/scry is allowed - why not this").

    In terms of variants - I agree which is why this mechanic is different in the sense that it sends the exiled cards into the graveyard at end of turn. In terms of interacting no need to interact with exile as this mechanic can double as self mill.
