    Also, if t his is indeed the end of the game, i have to object to tilde getting mvp because of stupid actions ending up randomly working out.

    Especially the cyan play at the end, which was the only reason you even hung on today.

    @GiaG: Just one thing that's bothering me. I've basically provided a slam-dunk case on StormBlind here, and you've not even commented on it beyond wanting to run the plan. The plan where you and StormBlind are the only two who will know his true alignment, you've backed down from being able to RBed, and I've identified another flaw.

    You'll note i suggested being RBed in the first place, and only backed off it cuz of bate's answer.

    Look, I really want to believe you're town - the outburst really sealed it for me and to a lesser extent the plan (but since I've found a gap and no RBing going on, not anymore), but the outburst was huge. Here's what I want: I want you to commit to an opinion of my case on StormBlind. I want very much to lynch him today and follow through with your plan from there. It's the best of all worlds - my top suspect goes down, I go down if he's town, and Tilde can't vote. The two people you've been most suspicious of today die or are ineffective tomorrow. All at the expense of losing StormBlind who is so obviously scum it hurts.


    Sigh. I came into the day sure Tilde was scum. I still think he's likely scum, but you're partially right, the beret should neutralize him (i say partially because if the mafia win condition is just to be 50% of the players, they win tomorrow if its Tilde and BT...still it's usually to control the lynch).

    And i still feel as if stormblind isn't going to be scum. Gut? maybe, i just think that the bowler doesnt make sense on scum and that i think the clown is a red herring. The only points ive seen that really bug me about stormblind are the missed investigation and the fact he tried to pretend he'd sent one on me. Still, as scum, he should've realized my hat's abilities....remember, goatrevolt had it? I mean, it wouldnt be out of his character to goof off and forget that point, but i hate to rely on that being the case.

    So i have mixed feelings here. Maybe I'm being stubborn and holding on to old perceptions too much here but...


    I'm going to campaign long and hard for this, and I want to know where you stand.

    Tilde -> Beret (Everything else if SB refuses)
    Me -> No hats
    GiaG-> Straw Boater
    BT-> Fez
    CM-> Beanie + Doc Hat + Viking Hat
    SB-> Everything else

    Lynch StormBlind.

    If town, vig me. Everyone else targets GiaG. (CM use Viking Hat)
    If scum and game not over, no vig. Everyone else targets GiaG. (CM use doc hat).

    I think I have that right, please identify if there is a gap. There are just now too many holes in your original target-you plan (no RB, possible loss if 2 scum left w/o Tilde being one) to support it.

    Think long and hard on this and give me your answer.


    as for this plan, fine. My only note of this plan is that if Tilde and bigtime are scum, and the mafia w/c is 50% of the town, then I'm going to be ****ing pissed as all hell. Losing to a team of tilde and bigtime? But your acceptance of being vigged if sb is scum makes me more fine with the plan.

    So, I agree with your plan, and will vote stormblind later (i really have to go to lsat practice...now).

    @GiaG: No, actually, it was quite the opposite. Remember the "try to knock off the just picked up Beret" game we played with Xyre earlier? Or the "try to knock off the Space Helmet" game we played with Arim? :/



    But that was knock off, not drop. We never asked them to type Drop Beret and arim had already had the space helmet for the night and so knew its abilities.

    Theoretically, tilde shouldnt be informed by bateleur yet it's abilities, and it should just be a blank hat.

    I have to go for now, lets not go anywhere near lynch/night until later...im rather busy till 10PM EST.

    Actually DYH, if that situation happens tomorrow, would that be an auto mafia win? I wouldn't think so, i think we'd be forced to nolynch, and we could use the viking hat to vig the known scum.

    ****ing beret. This is why Tilde, you dont pick up hats impulsively if you're town, as it ****s up planning that could win games. Unilateral action=bad

    Hmmm, good call, albeit unlikely..

    Hold on. Tilde, can you drop the beret? I thought i remembered that it was possible for players who picked up the helmet or beret to drop it prior to night since it didnt get autoworn and autoattached till night (since hats are unknown during day).

    Otherwise...i mean i'd have CM wear the beanie, but then there's too many people not following the plan (and if a kill happens, there's 3 people to pin it on.)

    My original plan gave tilde the chef's hat. You can take it as well. Then give CMthe Sheriff's hat. It doesn't matter which hat as long as it targets and will be detected in the thread.

    Tilde=beret
    Bigtime= fez (mimicing chef's hat)
    CM=Sheriff's hat
    DYH=Chef's hat
    SB=Bowler
    Me=Straw boater.

    Minor hold on my plan, bateleur refuses to give me any info on blocking interactions with hats, since i havent seen a hat that uses the word "block" before.

    So preferably, i think we should switch from fedora to some other non targetting hat....

    Not the worst of problems though, if we go through with the plan and the mafia does kill, you know its either me or tilde and can deal with that through the vig hat. and if Tilde isnt scum, its not a problem.

    Sooo, no one vote nolynch till we're allready, and then lets' proceed.

    Hmm actually, i just noticed tilde picked up the beret. But the plan still works, i think since he HAS to wear the beret. Everyone else will target me, and thus any kills will definitely come from tilde.

    Actually let me check if the fedora impacts the boater, i doubt it does, and if it doesn't, then the plan works for sure even with tilde having the beret.
