Matatinga's name probably isn't that way in english.
Mata means wood in portuguese
I've seen translations for Elderwood, Oldwood, and Ancient Wood. The English version should come out in a few hours and get things sorted.
Tinga isn't a word used so much in Brazil, but, Whitewood can be a possibility for the name too.
Turns out it's called Elderleaf Mentor. Where the leaf came from I don't know.
Mata can mean many things in Portuguese.
Mata can means bush, woods or leaves.
And even "to kill"
Edit:
Also, the portuguese translation have many problems.
Staying woth only a recent one, but "Stormfist Crusader" became something like "Fist Crusader".
Absolutely not Stasis. One of the most hated and least fun cards of all time. A commander-only set would be the worst place to put it (aside from a beginner/intro product).
Dang, a new Phelddagriff would be sweet though! Maybe there will be one anyway... maybe it is being retconned to a Bird Hippo creature type!
Yasharn, Relentless Earth 2GW
Legendary Creature - Elemental Boar
When Yasharn, Relentless Earth enters the battlefield, search your library for up to one basic Forest card and up to one basic Plains card, reveal those cards, put them into your hand then shuffle your library.
Players can't pay life or sacrifice nonland permanents to cast spells or activate abilities. (Anyone know what the flavor text says?)

The generic cost or the specific cost?
The same store who leak the commander decks also leaked the packs of Kaldheim.
And Tibalt's face was on one of them.
That's the joke
It's flavor says:
"On his footprints the inert powder became fertile soil."
Or something like that.
And she is huge in art.
Until today I had never seen the term bushmeat.
Thanks for the explanation!
1, (T) Sacrifice another creature. You get Life equal sacrificed creature toughness. Draw a card.

I don't know if that is the right translation for the name. The name is kinda weird in portuguese, and my English isn't very good either.
