Hehe I was just coming in here to say you should add Unlikely Aid. I also removed the Megrim and Liliana's Caress effects since they don't impact the board when they resolve, and cause all players to focus on you.
I was playing Breya Treasures the other night, had a Vedalken Orrery out plus Sharding Sphinx, a couple of mana rocks, and 12 thopters plus ten treasures from Smothering Tithe (which had been removed earlier).
I flash in Purphoros, God of the Forge at EOT, then take my turn and go to swing with the Sphinx and thopters. Given the 16 combat damage plus more thopters coming in to trigger Purphoros, this attack will kill both of my remaining opponents. SUDDENLY, they use removal on both Purphoros and the Sphinx! Now I am totally open to crackbacks with no blockers.
The next player is running Marchesa, the Black Rose and doesn't have much offense right now - he hits me with something but I'm still at 10 or so life. However, the next guy is running Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit, and he's got a few creatures with +1/+1 counters on them. He swings in with over 20 damage coming.
I flash in Duplicant and exile his biggest creature, then block the next biggest with the Duplicant. Also his Heliod, God of the Sun loses devotion and I survive. At his EOT I sac a treasure for black mana and flash in Revel in Riches with 10 treasures on the table. The Anafenza player immediately removes it with Fate Forgotten. Since I still have about 20 blue floating from Vault of Cataclan, I then flash in Mechanized Production on a thopter, untap and win. If they had removed that, I could still have flashed in Hellkite Tyrant too!
Oh I agree, and it won't happen often. Just the one time in 20 that it does happen without getting disrupted is fun. Then the rest of the table kills you.
Maybe it's just my local meta, but I see a lot of indestructible and hexproof creatures. You can only deal with indestructible via Mutilate and Ashes to Ashes (or Sorceress Queen I guess), and hexproof via Mutilate/Necromantic Selection only.
Maybe throw in a Damnation, Oblivion Stone and a couple of Fleshbag Marauder type sac effects. With Horobi out, you can even kill things with the O-stone by giving them fate counters =)
Almost anything you do with Atraxa will be good. At this point people just roll their eyes when they see Atraxa on the table. I always make a point of telling people "no, I have no Infect cards and I don't run 30 planeswalkers. It's fair."
Yeah this kind of thing sucks. I was at low life, up against a guy with three or four 4/4 angel tokens just waiting for his turn to kill me. I draw Unflinching Courage and cast it on my 6/6 creature...since I had Rafiq of the Many out, this attack was going to gain me a ton of life.
I couldn't attack the angel token guy since he had Island Sanctuary out, so I look at my other opponent and say, "nothing personal but I need the life." He scoops on the attack so I deal no damage and get no life...I die on the other guy's turn. This kind of "tactical" scooping annoys me.
Well it can't hurt. I might be biased (see my username), but I think it's a good idea. If no one draws from it, then they aren't finding answers to your Nekusar, plus Xantcha is hitting them for 5 damage a turn. If they do use her to draw, then you're killing them faster. Seems good. In my experience, people cannot resist the temptation to draw extra cards.
I guess the only downside is if Xantcha takes the spot of a card that is better for Nekusar. But I'm not a Nekusar player so I don't know what would be better.
I really like this deck and will make it myself! In mono-black my favorite card is Moonlight Bargain, try adding this. It's like a Necropotence that you can use at the end of opponent's turn.
Quest for the Nihil Stone probably doesn't do enough. Myojin is great but very expansive, maybe use Mindslicer. Also I see many "destroy" effects but in EDH now we have tons of indestructible creatures. Consider some exile effects like Silence the Believers, Ashes to Ashes or Vraska's Contempt.
Also what about Oblivion Stone (after making the Haunt indestructible!).
Don't take this as too critical please, but your deck is all over the place and not focused.
First, you have only 34 lands, but many of your cards cost 6 and 7 mana. This probably will not work. I would run 36 or 37. Plus lands that produce colorless like Seraph Sanctuary, Slayers' Stronghold and Crystal Quarry are going to feel REALLY bad when you draw them early and you need double red or double white.
You don't have much ramp either, only Chromatic Lantern, Sol Ring, Smothering Tithe and Sword of the Animist. Sword and Tithe are amazing but what if you don't draw them? At least add Boros Signet, Tithe, Boreas Charger or something. Thaumatic Compass is great for this type of deck.
I don't think Najeela is the right commander for this deck. Najeela seems best when you have many small warriors. Instead you have tons of large creatures that will only come down one at a time. Also very few are Warriors - only Neheb, Archetype of Aggression, Secure the Wastes and Oketra's Monument. Also, Najeela's 5-color ability will be very tough to use unless you find Chromatic Lantern. If you want to get multiple combat steps, just use Aurelia as the commander or play Aggravated Assault.
You have a lot of Fog effects to protect you, but with Boros you should be dealing out damage, not sitting back and being defensive.
Wake of Destruction is an odd choice unless some guy has a mono-colored deck you want to cripple. If you need to destroy the occasional problem land, just use Strip Mine or Wasteland.
Yeah Mob Rule acts like Insurrection a lot of the time, and it costs 2 less mana. Pretty decent.
Captivating crew seems like it would be killed before it makes it to your next turn, so you would have to use 8 mana to play it and use it. If you have 8 mana to throw around, why not just cast Insurrection and win immediately?
Also I forgot the best of all the stealing cards: Grab the Reins!
With Aurelia I find that Red's temporary stealing effects are amazing, because you can smash them with their own guy on two combat steps. Obviously the best possible scenario is to steal the creature, equip Skullclamp, attack twice, then sac it to Goblin Bombardment for two cards.
Blade of the Bloodchief has been a real killer for me. Sangromancer has been helping me stay alive too.
Only card in my hand is Keep Watch...I draw 12 cards from the attacking thopters. I get Sol Ring, Storm the Vault, Revel In Riches, Duplicant, Mechanized Production, Hellkite Tyrant and a few lands. Holy alt-win conditions! Still in combat phase, I flash in Sol Ring plus Storm the Vault and get an eleventh treasure...it flips at EOT and will now produce around 24 or 25 blue mana.
The next player is running Marchesa, the Black Rose and doesn't have much offense right now - he hits me with something but I'm still at 10 or so life. Oh, and maybe more exile effects like Silence the Believers or Vraska's Contempt.

You might have one too many lands (take out Cathedral of War) and Hanna might be too mana intensive. I'd throw in Noble Hierarch
and Bloom Tender then call it done.
Maybe Cold-Eyed Selkie? That card is bonkers with Rafiq the Geek.
