Oh yes, reading the example on the rule makes it all clear now. My bad didnt knew about the Interventing if clause, thanks for clarifiying!
Example: Felidar Sovereign reads, “At the beginning of your upkeep, if you have 40 or more life, you win the game.” Its controller’s life total is checked as that player’s upkeep begins. If that player has 39 or less life, the ability doesn’t trigger at all. If that player has 40 or more life, the ability triggers and goes on the stack. As the ability resolves, that player’s life total is checked again. If that player has 39 or less life at this time, the ability is removed from the stack and has no effect. If that player has 40 or more life at this time, the ability resolves and that player wins the game.
I still think you're looking at this wrong. Once the Crop rotation is cast, Kalamax ability goes to the stack (since its tapped) and then the other player can respond to it killing Kalamax, but its ability already triggered and its on the stack (Since it was tapped) and will resolve even if its dead.
701.4a To cast a spell is to take it from the zone it’s in (usually the hand), put it on the stack, and pay its costs, so that it will eventually resolve and have its effect. A player may cast a spell if they have priority. See rule 601, “Casting Spells.” 113.7a Once activated or triggered, an ability exists on the stack independently of its source. Destruction or removal of the source after that time won’t affect the ability.
Not entirely sure but, if the owner already casted the spell, then it already checked if Kalamax was tapped when it was casted, and kalamax ability already triggers.
I discovered a 'secret'interaction in my Mayael, the anima deck (Secret because I never tought of it)
I'd Gruul ragebeast, Vigor and Dragonlair Spider all in play. And one of my opponent had a 13/13 creature. Everytime my opponents played a spell I put a 1/1 insect that fight the 13/13 because of the Ragebeast and then Vigor prevented the fight damage and grant them 13 counters. For my next turn Ive manage to build an army of giant 14/14 insects.
(I still lost to a double turn of the same 13/13 creature hitting my face with protection from green)
Between Cathartic Reunion and Tormenting Voice I think I like Tormenting Voice better, since all the curses in my hand are death draws (And running 2 of each, I need to have them on my library in order for Curse of Misfortunes to fetch them)
Does the idea of discarding the witchs / obzedat sounds relliable? Im trying to compare it to Death Shadow in some way since you need the Footstep in order to pull something out of the deck
The idea is basically to make curses kind of viable in Modern, the deck relies mostly in our Footsteps of the Goryo & Bitterheart Witch 'combo'. We try to dig our deck in order to get the Witch into our graveyard, then use Footsteps of Goryo and start cursing our opponent.
We want to discards the witch before turn 3 (We can also try to get Obzedat, Ghost Council in there ) while trying to control the board.
Once the witch is dead, we get Curse of Misfortunes or the curse more fitting for the match up
The basic idea I've is just this... Combo pieces, some form of removal, chunk blockers (Lingering Souls) and draw/discard in order to get the pieces together.
For the mana I think 23 lands will suffice But im not sure how to build the landbase 'till I get the whole list.
Enchanted creature doesn't untap during its controller's untap step.
If the enchanted creature controllers would search a library, that player searches the top four cards of that library instead. then lose 1 life for each creature with the same name as enchanted creature in his or her graveyard or battlefield, you gain life equal to the life lost this way
Befriending (As this creature attacks, you may choose any number of other creatures in other games you can see from your seat that could attack if you controlled them this combat and pay 2 for each of them whose controller lets you. You gain control of each of those creatures and they become tapped and attacking in a band with this creature. Bands are blocked as a group. If any creatures with banding you control are blocking or being blocked by a creature, you divide that creature’s combat damage, not its controller, among any of the creatures it’s being blocked by or is blocking. Untap all of the creatures you gained control of this way and their owners gain control of them at end of combat.)
2G: You gain 5 life. Activate this ability only if you Befriended a creature from a dude called 'Steve'

Death Baron buff Skeletons and Zombies the Sovereing is a Vampire but the Gravedigger is a zombie, what you did was kill the Sovereing with First strike but didnt have enought damage left to kill the Gravedigger, so it dealt damage to your Danitha and ended up killing her because of the Death toutch from the Baron

Also since I'll be splashing some white I think I could fit some Path to Exile somewhere, as well as some Collective Brutality
Any tip in order to improve the list are really appreaciated.
