Enchantment removal in the SB is a must if you expect to play against any fairies players. Also, I don't really like redcap, Incinerate or Flame Javelin both seem better if you want that targeted removal effect.

Spectral Procession is really good, as is Cloudgoat Ranger, and as they are both uncommon it should be easy to pick some up. More Ajanis would be good if you can get them too. Also, 25 plains seems high. I think you could safely go down to 24 or even 23 if you don't run more Jonnies/cloundgoats.

While a cloudthresher will usually not kill all faeries and cause them to sacrifice the clique, it IS a really good response to a clique, as they likely don't have the mana up to counter. Also, I hear 7/7 outclasses 4/4

The card you mentioned hardly will see any play MD, I hardly would call it a addition to the deck.

Any card that will be added to the deck is an addition. Also, just hypothetically here, lets assume faeries gets NOTHING good in Conflux. Our "crisis mode" would consist of basically making 4 Thoughtseize and at least 2 Vendilion Clique a MD necessity to combat the uncountrable stuff that other decks are getting. That is all we would really need to do. These new hate cards will hurt faeries, sure, but it will not kill it. We may even lose our spot as the dominant deck, but we will still be very competitive. Even is all that happens, then faeries will begin to be underestimated or played less, prompting the hate cards to start coming out of decks. We can and will come out of this just fine.

I am in the process of building this deck, and I see a lot of decks with 4 ranger of eos. On paper that looks like a lot of them, but is practice are they really good enough to warrant the full set? They seem really good, but I don't know if I would want to see multiples in my hand. Has anyone had problems or are they really good enough to warrant the full set?

It most likely will not really matter for Kyoto, but I just noticed one thing. In game 2 Vs. the bant deck, you said you said that you took Guardians with your Sower and pinged for one. With the Guardians on your side, that should have been 2 damage. Later you said that you had your opponent down to one life....
I point this out only as someone who has made very similar mistakes Smile

This whole thread is stupid. How can you guys sit here and post this stuff....in the Decks For Critique section? This obviously belongs in the Competitive section, noobs!

Countryside Crusher? Seems like a big threat that if left unmolested will cause you to draw nothing but gas.

I don't think he believes that. I think he only wanted to present an alternate reasoning for not wanting same-sex marriage. In this case, its effects on heterosexual families.

Upon re-reading, I agree with you. Sorry for mistakenly taking your words out of context Mavrick.

When a young child asks "why do people get married," or something to that effect, most parents prefer to answer with "to have children," or something similar. This is an easy answer that does not have to get into abstract ideas such as love and sex with the child who, odds are, will simply not understand.

Now, how do you explain why two men or two women get married if a child asks? "Makin' babies" is out.
    Slant

So you would ban gay marriage to avoid explaining that two people love eachother to a child.
    Interesting reasoning.

If I was you I would go with a more color intesive build. Drifter and threasher (I would say 2 main) are too good to miss. and I hear Harbinger into Smokebraider into t3 Horde of Notions is good times. as for the mana base, you should be fine with a few painlands and primal beyond. Vivids are good in a pinch, but try to play only a few cipt lands, as t1 harbinger into whatever you need is a really stong play.
Note- if you play 4x nova chaser, mosswart is much better then knoll.

MD was not so great. 98 players, only top 8 getting prizes. I think the turnout was fine, but the prize support could have been better. I also think next year they should give a much better foil the dourbark. I heard that it was origionally a FNM foil that got used for some reason. Can anyone conferm/disconferm this rumor?
Other then lackluster prize support it was a really fun event though, and I guess that is what wizards is aiming for.

Needs a secondary plan, as game 2 they will just target your hearald or save a kill spell or something. This should be a G/W/r aggro deck that can (but not must) pull out the singleton godsire for the win.

Could Sarken Vol be good here? Seems like t3 sarken woul not be that difficult to get. Following him up with t4 razer is basicly gg. His inclusion would just give this deck 1 more must kill threat.
