MTG Salvation

I've noticed something about my playstyle. In all of my decks. My Aminatou, Valduk keeper of the Flame, Arahbo Roar of the Worlds, and all my other EDH and modern decks. I dont like to block. I feel its usually because my opponents have bigger creatures that will kill mine. But regardless I dont block. And usually this is the cause of my defeat. So how can I build a deck around this? Any ideas?

But theres more to figuring yourself out. You also while playing, have to be conscious of *how you are playing. By that I mean the difference between, what you are aiming to do and what you are actually doing.
