And here i was hoping that vampires were going to go away and we could have some good zombies again. Also disappointed that overrun is likely getting replace by overwhelming stampede. I'm beginning to think that wizards really does want older players to quit.
Orrrrrrrrr just a guess (which i'm hoping is true) is that they make this format not uncommon bomb oriented like Magic 2010
Fireball, Sleep, and Overrun all just said "I Win" and were first picks almost no matter what.
Seriously, did any of these actors win Emmy's for their work on LOST? I think some of them really should! Some powerful performances..'specially this season.
The ending was TOO cute and cuddly, and tried to just sum up the past 6 years in nostalgia, rather than finish a story they've been telling for 6 years
The ending was awful, seriously, they told us YEARS ago they wouldn't end it with
anternate reality or of the sorts
But they still did, and leading up to this episode I was CONVINCED they'd make it a decent woah ending, but they just made a SUPRISE (ending here) in the last 10 minutes after reuniting every character ever.
Also, i might be biased on this subject, seeing as i never got my vincent flashback episode
I'm a UWr player and over regionals i had a conversation with a jund player after a game where i pulled a win after 3 Bloodbraid Elfs
"Must be nice to draw 3 Bloodbraid Elfs"
"Must be nice to draw 3 Ajani and 2 Jace, Thats why i like Elf so much, because if it wasn't in the format, every deck would need to play blue"
The relevance to this thread is this:
YES, next season, and in general jace will be INCREDAGOOD, probobly pushing $130 as the outcome, and other colors will need something to be balanced with it, so i believe that even a pro blue/white Trained Armadon is still relevant, that can't be Journied O'ring'd or Pathed, killed by gideon, can block gideon all day, get by elspeth dudes, can't be bounced by jace, or next season ousted. It would be the nuts, and probobly better than stag was against faeries (Faeries could race it all day, i've raced DOUBLE stable stag before, and no it wasn't some random scrub).
Also, you can quote me on this, I graduate on June 24th, by then Jace will be atleast $100, gideon around $60 too.
Too situational. But probably much better in sealed than draft.
How is it situational?
it literally goes to work at 1, which is akward, but i do get it doesn't affect the board state at all, but it is still a win condition that has few actual game 1 anwsers.
This set is obviously casual-oriented for the most part, but theres so many powerful constructed cards, that it actually suprised me on how well the whole set came together, seeing as 45 cards in or so, the set was looking to be pretty damn awful
And they reprinted Wall of blossoms, so no one can really complain
Silverstein - Apoligize
A Day to Remember - Over My Head
The Shins - We Will Become Silhouettes
Surrender the Dance Floor - Just Dance
In Fear And Faith - Gangsters Paradise
Miss May I - Swing
The Devil Wears Prada - Still Fly
This build is really good, still resistant to blightning, and the absence of jace, the mind sculptor is rarely missed, seeing how the card is decent at best against jund most of the time, but still in the sideboard for matches its needed, while mind spring and coup, this obviouslty has been said, wins games against jund, and being able to cast baneslayer late game is amazing as well, usually forcing a 2-for-1
Check out this deck, try it over the permission builds, the card advantadge engine in it is terrific.
ABACABB, Abacinate, Molotov Cocktail, Arsonists Get All The Girls <3, Attack Attack, Dance Gavin Dance, Dr. Acula, Forsaken The Sky, Gwen Stacy, I See Stars, I Set My Friends on Fire, iwrestledabearonce, Miss May I, Salt The Wound, A Skylit Drive, Underoath, Winds of Plague, Years Spent Cold.
This list is broad in the genre, but it can all be considered metalcore, more heavier than others. Enjoy.

I really hope this is a joke.
Sprouting Thrinax
Turn 2 Putrid Leech
Malakir Bloodwitch
And if needed deals with vengevine, Bloodbraid Elf and Baneslayer Angel
We realized this a while ago, and yes, it is really really good
