I believe that Bonecrusher Giant would be a good sideboard against Fog-based decks. The problem is that if we target him with our spells he also crush us
There have been a discussion about whether Feather, the Redeemed triggered ability works with Adventures the same way as it works with Flashback or Dreadhorde Arcanist's ability or if the "self exile" stance is similar to Glorious End, Teferi's Protection, Stunning Reversal and so on.
I know we can wait until the release notes but does anyone know which case applies?
Hello my friend! Nice to see another Sunforger appreciator here!
I have a Tajic EDH deck that is based on board wipes, removals and resilience. Obviously I kill my oponents with commander damage
My strategy is basically based on controlling the board. Differently from your deck, that forces attacks, I use a lot of damage prevention to frustrate my opponents attacks, board wipes to keep the battlefield open and reanimation spells/effects to bring back my good fellas.
I also use more than 10 Sunforger-friendly instants in my deck, and to bring them back from graveyard I use Mistveil Plains, Epitaph Golem (from SOI) and Elixir of Immortality. My EDH is also more equipment-focused and I keep about 10-11 Equipment cards on it. As my friends already complain a lot about my Sunforger tricks I avoid having much other tutors aside from Stonehewer Giant in the deck, but it works pretty good - enough to make many games become an Arch Enemy against good old Tajic hahahaha.
I also like things that are unusual for a Boros deck, so I keep things like Wild Ricochet (nice to steal extra turn spells, removals, draw spells that target, to counter counterspells, etc.), Lapse of Certainty (OH MY GOD HE COUNTERED ME USING A WHITE SPELL). As Basandra keeps you from using much of the damage prevention spells on the right time, you could use a Knight-Captain of Eos - it sacrifices a soldier for preventing all combat damage on the turn. Story Circle and Righteous Aura also are nice enchantments to keep close as they can make you pratically immortal if you use them wisely. And why not give Goading cards a try? Make your opponents kill themselves! Gisela, Blade of the Goldnight is a nice girl to have by your side in this sense. Worship also works finely if you can keep your creatures on the battlefield. Faith's Reward helps you to frustrate boardwipes and gain a significant board advantage against your opponents - although for it be used effectively with Sunforger you need some indestructible friends around.
Later I can post my list. I'm always trying new cards on Tajic but I have a kind of base list hahaha
Maybe we'll have to bet a little on more copies of Infuriate, and probably a Naya version of the Deck (using Domri's Ambush, Season of Growth and some other buffs will be a nice idea for the deck. I also believe that Irencrag Pyromancer will provide a nice output of damage when used with Defiant Strike, maybe in the slot of Legion Warboss
