To be honest to herself, Shirin had no idea how she was going to fix this whole problem that somehow had come to be. As she drifted further away from the classroom she suddenly remember that the voice had posed a question just before she got distracted. "What was it you asked me again?"

"Um..." Shirin only responded, as always, she was unable to say anything for the first moments after the question. Quickly though, she recovered, and answered the question before the teacher would get suspicious "Well... the installation of tactical missiles on Cuba by the Soviets, which was seen as a move of aggression by us. And the USSR didn't attack because they were afraid of mutual assured destruction."

Shilana focuses on the sound, trying to ascertain its location with her good senses. She stands prepared for an attack, attempting to make the others less viable targets.

Feeling uneasy, but somehow comforted by the sound of voice, Shirin decided to respond honestly "It's Whitney... I think she used magic to read my subconscious, and she found something, well, I guess disturbing is the good word." She played with her pencil while she listened with one ear to the teacher's words. History was about the Cold War today, and though she usually found the classes very interesting, today she just couldn't focus. Not that she had to worry, the teacher just rambled on while most of the class chatted or dreamed away.

Shirin was left behind confused by Whitney, at least, for a moment. Then her brain switched back to normal and she realizes she should be off to Chemistry. Still, somewhere in her mind, as her legs moved her body onward, a tiny voice questioned what the hell just went wrong in her life...

Shilana hesitantly and cautiously follows Deekins towards the hole. To her, Deekins appears either not to know any more than they've been told, or wishes not to tell. Either way, following him is probably the only somewhat reliable way of getting out of this mess, though she can't begin to phantom how exactly the group will pull that off. For now, she'll do with what she's good at, being sneaky and keeping her eyes open.

With that question, Shirin's mind turned a little less quiet, as she thought of what to say. "I don't... I'm not sure what I'm... feeling, okay?" she said defensively. She felt compelled not to lie though, and she followed with a hesitant "But... I guess?"

Zahira takes up to the role as mentor quickly enough "I will act as a judge in the duel, not only to see you keep it fair, but also to judge your decision making at crucial moments. Whether it is during conflict or not, skill in decision making is crucial to any Azorius. Whether you're a senator who only sits and hears out others, or one who goes out onto the streets to actively enforce law, you need to use your wit, you can't stand still." She stared directly and strictly at Jenika, she was very serious now. But then she let a smile appear "Just keep that in mind and you'll be fine."

Shirin instinctively stares to the ground, not just to hide the possible visible expressions, but to make sure she wouldn't make the same mistake again "Um... Not really, except that class is about to start. You have Chem too right?"

Zahira woke up, to her pleasant surprise completely rested and feeling great. The pain, both in her flesh as well as in her mind had gone. She refreshed herself a bit, before it dawned that Wynn was probably waiting for her. Wearing her official Azorius Lawmage robes, she went downstairs to find her friend and Jenika.

<Just one thing, Deekins. Who told you to do all this, your kin, or someone more magnificent?> Shilana asked, choosing her words careful. To Alkalia she responded "Just stay behind me, okay? I'll go in first."

"A library? There's one less than 5 minutes from here, if I'm not mistaken..." Shirin said with a thoughtful expression. A slight shudder went through her body, as she tried with all her might to keep her emotions inside. Luckily for her, it was difficult to look into someone's eyes, for otherwise she might have drowned in Whitney's...

"Well... I was just wondering when we'll start training... together." Shirin asked, before falling awkwardly silent, blushing a little as she took up the full view of Whitney and adding "You... look great by the way."

"Okay, heading there now." Shirin send out to Whitney. As she walked she tried to calm her racing heart, but it was rather futile... her eyes were ready for it, for Whitney's sight, but maybe the rest was not...
