    Intet, The Dreamer

I like commanders that don't make you an immediate target, plus the ability to run green ramp, blue counters for the inevitable phase of the game where one player tries to ruin everything and a deck that synergises towards high mana cost spells. The amount of times a Fireball X spell or some variant is needed to wipe out a major threat makes those spells and access to red a must have.

I don't like creature based ramp. Wouldn't even use Llanowar Elves or Birds of Paradise.

Land fetch spells tend to be better since you get to keep the mana after the inevitable turn 4 wrath.

Cards like Wood Elves and Sakura-Tribe Elder are my preferred creature based land ramp, although they function like Rampant Growth instead of Llanowar Elves.

Despite all that, Magus of The Library is one mana dork that I might be more likely to use because of it's other function. Just not as a must have.

    Red Languish.

    Maybe a Darigaaz theme deck?

Not bad in black devotion and a swamp to activate cards like Cabal Coffers and Tainted Wood, Tainted Field etc.
