I just wanted to shout out to the recent decklists that've splashed red! I've been thinking about doing the same for a long time and I would really love to see some tournament reports! I'm in a creature heavy meta and both Lightning Helix and Deafening Clarion looks nice. I've been wanting to test the Nahiri and Emrakul package as well.

I've done some small changes since last friday. I've switched Crucible for a Weathered Wayfarer, There's like 1 Tron deck in the whole city. I've added an additional Thraben Inspector and one Ghostly Prison cutting Elspeth. I've bought 1 Archangel Avacyn and 1 Runed Halo which will also take places in the main board.

I want to add that the local meta is largely build on burn decks.

I'll try to post it later today! Mind you that it's not a optimal build and quite modified towards the local meta, creature based decks and burn decks that is. It's also the first time I played a mono white build for at least a year. I used to splash blue earlier but I wanted to try to dedicate the mana base towards inevitability alone and it worked like a clockwork.

Went 4-0 at local FNM last friday.

    Eldrazi Taxes 2-0
    Burn 2-0
    8-whack 2-0
    Jund midrange 1-0

The taxes games was slow but steady, even postboard. Even though the Eldrazi player did everything he could to disrupt my hand, I always managed to stay floating until I could stabilize the board and then win.

The Burn games were fast. The Burn player conceded the first game after 4 rounds on an empty hand and me being at 45 life. I had to play around both Skullcrack and Atarka's Command the second game but again managed to get some good draws with multiple Martyr activations on the same turn.

We jokingly said that the player with the best hand would probably win the first game. I had the best hand with both Ghostly Prison and Wrath of God which led to a quick concede. The second game took a while longer but it was difficult for the whack player to handle a turn 1 Serra Ascendant followed by a Martyr of Sands which led to a 9 minute 2-0 match.

Both games against the Jund midrange brew took a long time due to his deck's ability to play valuecards from the graveyard. But as you are well aware of, on of the key characteristics of the Martyr Proc deck is the inevitability. Proclamation and Emeria were key cards in the first game with both Kami and Martyr. The last game went to time and it's difficult to say who would've won in the end. He managed to chip away my life but I had card advantage most of the time. A Pithing needle on Martyr of Sands didn't make the situation any better. Though no one had won after the 5 additional turns so it ended at 1-0.
