Behaviorally, it's suspect that Gemma, vaimes, and anak jump onbaord super quickly without their own reasoning, and through their silence, endorse this thinking. That sentiment isn't unique, to this game nor in mafia in general. But it's strange since nacho a few posts earlier actually agrees with me that all the actives *probably* arent all town. (I'll back this up tomorrow once I have a computer. This phone posting is rough).
I'm just getting frustrated by technology right now, this stupid phone is like impossible to quote on. Ugh.

Nacho: more than anything his seemed like a player signalling they want to control the game, and be the big dick on campus. I'm not sure what KCC is necessarily doing with a soft claim, but I don't think it's something important either way. Time will tell. One thing that did give me pause was that scum have daychat, so coming up with a fakeclaim that sounds scummy might be a group effort, instead of a single scum going off the rails early. In any case I didn't see anything from Nacho that raised any red flags for me. I'm actually leaning town on Nacho, because if Nacho was scum, and wanted to know a presumably town KCCs role, this was probably the worst possible way to go about it. Which brings me to...
Vez: first, let's, vote vez. All his posts are very surface level so far. For example:

I don't understand why someone softs that they have a "scummy" role - like, is it pro-scum (like PGO) where you need to out it to mitigate damage or is it just going to be a *****ty claim when you're at L-2? If it's the former, why not claim? If it's the latter, why hint at something like that at all instead of trying to draw a kill first? I don't think the half claim is doing anyone good here and since scum already knows you're nothing to be afraid of, why not full claim and give the town a little something more to work with?

Being scum is the worst thing in the world for me, I just hate having the game solved, so when scum, my energy level is just in the toilet. It's not something I can even fake at this point in my career, and definitely not in a game this long. Just sharing that helpful tidbit. Don't trust me now, but a few weeks in, it'll be obvious.

Yeah, I tend to like larger more complex games. The mini/micro scene isn't for me. Other things come into it as well, such as real-life, deadlines at work, etc.
I wonder if it's just a symptom of something else. Like, the assumption here is that watchmen took so long to fill up because lots of people looked at it, and then didn't take action because they weren't interested (whether it was size, roster, flavor, etc). That might not be. It seems to me it just took a while for more-active people to die in Eurovision.
If we're seeing a lot of people follow a thread (view but not /in), then maybe that's a sign that there are lots of first-time lurkers that are just working up the courage to take the plunge. I know I lurked and lurked for months before attempting to play. Something along the lines of a mentor/mentee game could get people off the fence. I know those happen from time to time.
Bleh, no hard feelings for shadow and mifare, honestly I nailed both of you in the first few pages, and just couldn't convince anyone. That's my fail. I am a bit salty at Rod/Tom for being so irresponsible/lazy, especially once I'd flipped. Kudos to Rhand and his reread, you also knew what was up. I wish it'd have been read.
Like, I feel really responsible for not being careful enough when responding to questions. I feel like I was definitely led on by you Shadow, and Mil just came in for the kill. IMO, that looks really coordinated (since day chat is a thing). I felt that after that initial "Gotcha" there wasn't anything I could say to make anyone listen. And the frustrating part is that there are only two scum in this game. So there are definitely active town players that should have been willing to hear me out.
On the other hand, Tom and Rod didn't do much. Like, top poster Tom hasn't really had any impact, and voted 3 or 4 different people. That's NAI, but there isn't a lot of show after. Bringing up the deadline really didn't help either. I can't imagine a scenario where we couldn't have requested an extension due to vezok not even posting once. So if Tom was trying to get Rod to jump, that's a possible thing. Like, it's possible both scum were already on my wagon at that point, and they needed town to feel some urgency.
I was going to suggest cop/doc me, since I had claimed, and it would resolve me either way.
