Hey yall, got a crazy idea while watching the spoilers today
We now have 3 extra turn cards legal in standard. Granted, one of witch loses you the game. Along side that, we have two ways to cast them for free. Omniscience, and [[Omnispell adept]]
With these effects, we can achieve a state where we can cast multple game changing spells in one turn.
How do we gain anything out of these extra turns? Planeswalkers of course. We have both teferis, the new ral, karn, and possibly even jaya ballard. Alongside Oath of teferi, we have the potential to ultimate our planeswalkers with ease! our only problem is mana. how do we overcome this lack of 8-10 mana in standard? well we have chromatic lantern, gilded lotus, and apex of power of course! with these we can achieve the great mana needed to cast omniscience and win the game. now,
I'm not someone who frequents these forums so it's up to yall to finish the list. I'm off to reddit to get my post deleted for my crazy mind. Good day brewers! Welcome! Until the full set is spoiled, new card discussion goes in that subforum. Moving. - hoser2
not too much to say. Really excited about the new ravnica set, favorite guild is selesnya. Wanna build a GW midrange deck that uses legends to get value out of [[Urza's ruinous blast]] and [[mox amber]]. Not sure if the deck has any grounds as competitive, but I'm aiming towards at least FNM 2-2/3-1. Cards I've got my eyes on are: [[Mox amber]] [[Lanowar elves]] [[Shanna, sissay's legacy]] [[siegehorn ceratops]] [[militia bugler]] [[mentor of the meek]] [[Kinjalli's sunwing]] [[reclamation sage]] [[Shalai, voice of plenty]] [[lyra dawnbringer]] [[baffling end]] [[Ixalan's binding]] [[Ajani, Adversary of tyrants]] [[Urza's ruinous blast]]
EDIT: Is [[jadelight ranger]] better than mentor of the meek or [[merfolk branchwalker]]
Also waiting on new cards such as the new Emmara.
what im asking is what's your opinion on this deck and these card choices. I've been out of standard and in modern for a while now. thanks for any feedback.
