What is everybodies opinion on the best site to buy singles? I play but I also collect and only put near lint to mint cards in my collection mostly foils for my collection. I usually go through starcitygames but it's not very consistent as far as quality goes. I tried card kingdom and every foil I bought was nowhere near near mint condition. So where do you guys look for good quality cards?

I use ultra pro. Would a de humidifier in the closet help if the cards were in sleeves and binding? I would like to double sleeve my older cards but if that traps the moisture inside it wont really be doing me any good except for future absorption

Also the damage I am referring to doing while trying to remove from sleeves is from my fingers scuffing the boarders or scratching the foil

How close proximity do the silica packets have to be to work? If I were to put them around the binders would it help or do I have to take out every card and fo them in small groups in a contained space? God I wish researched proper card storage years ago. The problem is there are so many of them to do just a few at a time would take me months I'm not looking for an easy fix just the most efficient. And yeah my other post dissapearedbto me I dont see it anywhere

I made a large post about my situation earlier but now I cant ving ot sp I will give the cliff notes version, just got back into magic and I have like 1000 foil cards. Pulled out my binders and noticed some curling. I use dragonshield protectors. Started doing some research and started switching to kmc I think they are called and double sleeping some. So my problem is is there anyway to flatten my curled cards it's nothing too major but it bugs me because I only collect pristine cards. Will putting them in the larger hard plastic sleeves help keep them flat? It's just a collection I dont use them to play. And how can I get the cards out of the dragonshield sleeves without damaging the foil? It's such a tight fit I had trouble with one and decided to research so I dont damage them. Please help me

So I just got back into magic and over the years I have gone through phases where I was in them out blag blah. So I keep cards separate for my favorites collection and I always buy playsets of foil variants of the cards I like try to get as close to perfect as possible. So I probably have like 1000 + foil cards. When I recently went to grab my binders out of the closet I noticed some curling and immediately set out to research. Come to find out how sensitive they are and everything. I mostly use dragonshield or sometimes just keep the sleeves on they are shipped to me in if they aren't pennies. So I did some research changed out some easy ones to kmc perfect fit and double sleeved them. But what can I do about the older ones? I tried to take one out of the dragonshield without damaging it to no avail. What is the best way to get cards out of dragonshield protectors without damaging the foil? Also is there anything I can do to straighten some out? Maybe those oversized plastic protectors? Please help its bugging the shot out of me. Most of them aren't too bad but I took so much time and money to collect near perfect cards so this curling blemish bugs me
