Well I sorta hope this isnt just all the commander-specific cards plus a couple random new foils (like the library) that'd be a bit of a wast of $75 for all of it. At that point I'd just pick and choose from singles.
on another note:
Did anyone else. Price that the magic tcg logo is the same color as our commander tag for the forums? Was this pure coincidence?
Hey everyone, Im looking for a way to hold 100 double sleeved cards. The Dragon Shield Gaming Box doesn't appear to exist anymore, wondering what people have done?
Additionally I've just started to use double sleeving on my cards because I was worried about the foils in my decks loosing luster to dragon shield sleeves (from high quantities of shuffling). Has anyone else experienced this? How did you deal with it? Was double sleeving sufficient? Finally I'm not sure how much I like the bulkyness of the double sleeves (dragon shield + KMC) does this ever go down, or do I just have to deal with it as is?
This deck is a straight general damage deck built around Jedit Ojanen of Efrava and trying to get to 21 with him. It was built in response to the massive number of green decks that were popping up in my meta. I felt like exploiting the fact that every single opponent had a forest of some kind in play.
This deck (and by extension Skelly ship) are probably my favorite things I've seen. What are your guys opinions on Arcane Laboratory? Too restrictive on the deck itself?
Personally I've tried to keep the deck from just completely locking out the game. It'd basically be too easy for me. So basically what I'm saying is, I'm a masochist and I like to make the game unnecessarily hard on myself when playing this deck.
I guess I've had the same experience, I just wasnt sure if it was normal. And yes, clearly this is a result of your awesomeness. Hearing you call this a "true group hug" really rings a bell with me. Have you ever considered turning this into a primer? I was considering it with mine but didn't want to add 2 primers on the same strat (and of course would want your permission first since my deck is a direct descendant of yours).
I can understand where you're coming from on that one. There are always a few people in any of my groups that wouldn't appreciate a deck that is trying less to win the game and more to regulate it.
That being said I think I may have done something a little different than you in this deck. I have literally attempted to remove all ways of winning from the deck. The only way I can win is through accidently decking my opponents and even that is very difficult if there are more than 2 of them.
Because the deck is mono-blue it tends to draw a lot of hate without even starting the game. Because of this I have tended to play the deck like a game of survivor, just seeing how long I can keep myself in the game and keep it running smoothly. This means the deck tends to play more like a traditional control deck with a lot of extra resets. Does this seem like I've missed the point of the deck?
Is there supposed to be some sort of spoiler today?

Thanks everyone, really appreciate the help.

Looking for suggestions to make the deck even more aggressive and win better, currently it feels a little slow to the kill. Thanks!

1) Sensei's Divining Top does almost nothing past turn 5 in this deck and rarely matters (is getting cut in my version soon)
2) War Tax feels bad. Not sure I really like it.
3) Forcefield would be really good for me.
