I agree with nim deathmantle being a good call here, the rest I'm not sure of yet, I did draw beating in a game last night with a friend and it turned him almost rolling me into an instant kill with general damage.
Again I haven't tested with the other cards to any degree so maybe ill cycle them through as I play the deck.
One thing I am addin that I forgot to mention (cause I don't have it to test with yet) is kher keep a card I heard synergizes well with skullclamp
A couple notes here, Im not sure about taking Sword of Vengeance out. This card does so much work in some games, but for the moment I will try grafted wargear. the sword of that I replaced is a pipedream, I dont own one right now and Im not really sure how I'll come about one, but I'll test like I have it. I have a Serra Avatar but I didnt like the auto win it generated cause it made players dislike the game too often.
Also with shattering Spree vs. Into the Core, one is a sunforger target the other isnt, in this deck that has been huge.
Ill keep all this in mind, one thing to note for right now is this is just a pipedream deck, I have others I love that I want to put a bit more into before I jump on board this money hoarder. If you wanna help with those too i'd revel in your comments.
Looking for some suggestions to get my brion deck up to snuff. This is supposed to be an aggro / voltron build designed for slightly casual multiplayer
I already know I want to get rid of sneak attack (doesnt often do enough and I usually want to keep the creatures around) and of course I want the swords of x and y that are missing. other than these any gems that I should look into for this deck?
I think all of these are grea suggestions. Some of the cards (even including ones I listed) arent really available to me right now. Im going to poke around the next couple days and see what my friends have. Ill post an updated list later tonight.
I'm looking for suggestions based on making the deck more "fun" to play. I want it to win but I dont want to just combo out or LD people out of the game, basically I dont want my opponents to scoop to my creatures (Artisan of Kozelik style) I want them to be afraid (Hellkite Overlord style).
can you post the deck you've been running? I haven't looked into VV survival but I was under the impression that post-sideboard you had a really good chance against it?
EDIT: also while Im asking, can someone explain how to manage such a schizophrenic sideboard? like for example: Im playing against something where I want to side in ghostly prison, do basically always side it and the tutors in to find it?
That's actually very intereting insight. I have been seeing a lot of pox and was actually drawn to this deck as an answer to that in better than 50/50 which was what I was doing with fish. honestly I think this deck could be quite elegant and the lack of tarmogoyf makes me all the happier to give it a try. I think there could probably be some tweaking done, but when it comes down to it this looks like a solid deck with some good potential. If I started testing and posting my results (and list when I get the cards together this week) would you be willing to put some time back into this?
