I don't really have the cuts sorted out, but since I don't get to play either way, I'll stay in the theorycrafting regime for now regarding this set.
One thing I have convinced myself of though is that I restrict Monarch effects to Red and White, serving as exclusive ways to draw cards for the colors with the most trouble drawing cards. I am tinkering with a way of introducing Big Red along the way, giving my Cube access to Red or Boros Control, utilizing the Monarch effects we got from this set alongside the one we have (Palace Jailer).
Looks amazing! I've been building Jumpstart-Boosters myself and am happy to find some ideas I haven't had myself. Once I'm done working this weekend, I'll have a look at everything and share my Cubecobra-List of Jumpstart-Boosters so you can have a look.
I'm stoked for this card! Prison Archetypes have not really gotten anything new since Plague Engineer. I've been hoping for something new for so long and will definetly give this card a shot.
A friend reminded me that Winds of Abandon does not have a "may"-clause on the land-fetching, and even cards like Field of Ruin are getting interesting! Maybe I'll try to go a bit deeper on this by also including Leonin Arbiter. There are so many things that enable players to search their library that I'm quite positive the effect can turn out to be useful. If it is not overly useful in a passive way, there are ways to force it proactively, for example with the cards I mentioned. Cleansing Wildfire is another card that comes to my mind in this regard.
I have high hopes, but the concerns mentioned are reasonable.
How did the Aggro-Loam package work for you so far?
While doing my ZNR-changes, I held Vinelasher Kudzu next to Luminarch Aspirant and wondered whether it is really worth the real-estate^^
I'll vouch for Tireless Tracker being an absolutely amazing card in Cube. There seldom is a Game with Tireless Tracker out where I don't find a new interaction for it.
I think my eternal love for the card comes from the night I paired it with Smokestack..
I just looked through my cards for Cube reasons and found Elsewhere Flask. I don't think I saw it mentioned somewhere before, but thought it might be interesting to think about for Cubes that run High Tide. Just wanted to get that out here for the remote chance that you haven't already considered the card at some point in the past.
3 - Neither, but I guess Disallow if I had to choose. I think there are too many better versions of both of these types of cards to want either one.
Which card do you like better than Disallow? I'm not particularly fond of the card, but found countering a triggered or activated ability to be extremely valuable at times. Would you rather have Sublime Epiphany?
Never thought to see 90+ comments on a card like this^^
Irrespective of flavour, emotions of people seem to be strong with respect to these cards. A bit too strong for my taste..
Keep a cool head everybody. Enjoy the new cards and the possibility of getting a draft round together if that is possible. Don't let emotions get the better of you.
Nice job on introducing that Aggro-Loam package Looks great! Have you considered Atarka's Command for support? It's perfect in Aggro and possibly allows for another landdrop, buffing everything!
Great job by the way on keeping your Cube an evolving creature constantly, introducing and trying out new ideas. Always a blast to read the new inclusions.
That is amazing! With the top-tier of a slot getting stacked, diversity increases a lot, since the strongest suite will be more dependant on the cube as a whole and the supported archetypes rather than blindly choosing the strongest cards in a vacuum.
The painlands are always on my watchlist, since I would really like to play Reality Smasher, Thought-Knot Seer and Eldrazi Displacer. I'm just waiting for a bit more colorless producing good lands or colorless payoffs so I can include the package. These lands being close to the functionality of the painlands but without generating colorless makes me completely uninterested.
for cubes...I think the mythic lands are fun. Would you play the entire cycle, or just 1-2 of them (like the green and red)? My brother and I have a slightly different cube than most...but I’m interested in seeing what people think.
As for now, only the red and the green interest me. I let wtwlf do the testing on the blue one and according to his verdict will either rethink the blue one or keep it out. The white one does not interest me at all, but time will tell.
I have to say, while I like this new design-space, I was hoping for the lands matter archetype to thrive after Zendikar Rising. Does not seem like it

How much time I could save by implementing this decision-process in Cube-building

I remember you writing that playing with silver-bordered cards does not feel like real MTG to you. Does playing with The Walking Dead cards?
