Last year they had rolling different times for game phases to cater to different parts of the world. I was in a game that was mostly west coast US and Australians if I'm remembering correctly. So they should have at least one game catering to Euro time zones if Rhand wants it.
If Rhand wants it he has my vote, if he doesn't Wisp or KJ (or Sloth! if he can't lock down the DLP nom) seem like great options to me!
Yeah, there's a form for End of Day time preferences and there is generally at least a few games with European-friendly day ends
Though this is a bit less sure of a thing for rounds past qualifiers if you advance, as they tend to end up at very compromise-y times; however with 3 semifinal games it's pretty likely I can swing an Euro deadline for one there at least, and their tendency to be compromise-y means they're generally not extreme in the later direction
and this is going to sound weird but i think it's still right even if he is somehow a villager? like if that's the case i think it's beneficial to know, asap, worlds without him are significantly weirder than a world without shadow, time to process that is good.
but i'm pretty sure he's just going to flip wolf
if it's wrong, the same thing i said to shadow applies, which is that we're probably still going to win. i'll just feel awful about it.
but if hunger flips town i'm absolutely going to drill my team on the vaimes thing and make 100% certain that we're definitely not getting anything wrong.
yeah i think our equity is still very good regardless, but the alternate answer definitely feels more straightforward in the world where shadow is a villager than the one where hunger is
definitely would want that to happen with vaimes read in a hunger v world because in said world i do start to have concerns in that respect
i honestly thought for the entire afternoon that i was going to vote shadow, and especially after the last half hour i was pretty sure of it and then i got ******* nervous and paniced
i don't think this is the wrong choice. i think you're right, it's the most logical.
i think it's right

i would feel like ***** if i lynched hunger here and the team was shadow/sheep and hunger spent the whole day trying to prove it and then i voted him while he wasn't even here
i feel you
i don't think him not being here now should matter, even though that might be uncomfortable
he had most of the day to post and attempt to do that and he did so
Up to you Dels, I'll move if you want to go shadow.
i don't know.
a hunger lynch is what i wanted for most of the day but after the last few days i changed my mind a bit and accepted that we were probably going to lynch shadow.
i don't think the team is shadow/sheep, so it still makes sense to vote hunger here, but... ugh.
ye
it feels gamestate/big picture correct to vote hunger still
Well either that or he wants us to think he's scum either hunger. At that point it's just wifom buy either way it makes more sense as a scum strategy than town giving up.
Like what happened to the "I'm so excited to be playing" from day 1? I know the game is kind of a slog and it sucks that Gemma is gone but meh. For someone who should be really certain the team is hunger/sheep, I don't get it.
i've spent this game making the best cases i can for shadow being town. mostly just that it could actually be a hunger/sheep world.
but idk. i think it's just that - a case, and it might not be a correct one. i still lean towards sheep being town. i think we hit either way today. but hunger has at least tried to work with me and shown me a world where he could be town. i don't want to, as shadow says, give him a pass just for writing a lot of words, but meh. it feels easier to vote shadow here, even if i know that's not logically the best option. shadow hasn't really given me any particular reason to go for hunger first. also my team says to vote shadow, though they don't seem particularly enthused either way. they just say, given the choice, start with the one who is less active/working less hard. also hunger isn't even here and hasn't been able to respond to my posts in days. again, i wouldn't just not lynch someone just because they're not around, but...
there's still a part of me that finds it really hard to let go of the fact that my gut was telling me shadow was town for so long, and i do have real fears that the hunger/sheep thing could be real, but i think shadow is probably the best choice today.
my general approach is typically similar to that of your team here
on a gut level i still kinda want to go hunger first but meh
Hell, in that case, he probably thinks hunger has a better chance to recover and win than he does. If it's hunger/shadow and we lynch hunger today, we probably lynch shadow tomorrow. If we lynch shadow today because "well hunger has been sort of towny" then maybe hunger can continue to leverage that and win? (He can't)
this is a back of my mind concern yeah
have thought about hunger being a wolf PR and not shadow or a stronger one than shadow etc but i'm not sure it makes sense to me with shadow's pr thing and i'm not sure how much it even matters here
think shadow has real non game reasons for not fighting more/etc regardless of alignment
I think we just need to flip shadow and move on. We've been dancing around him/Hunger for literally this entire phase. Everyone is wilting, except maybe Dels. sheep is completely underwhelming and probably scum if Hunger is town.
After that game is hard.
Been ready to kill either literally the entire day.

i've been ready to end day for a good week and a half what's a few more hours
and this is going to sound weird but i think it's still right even if he is somehow a villager? like if that's the case i think it's beneficial to know, asap, worlds without him are significantly weirder than a world without shadow, time to process that is good.

if you want me to move to shadow tell me like, asap.

I don't really remember the details but it probably included things that didn't actually happen in the game, my dreams tend to do stuff like that.
We should do something. We have about 3.5 hours. I don't really care that much who we lynch today out of the two.
