This may sound stupid, but what's so great about Future Sight? Don't I want the most recent pack I can get to start me out?

And aren't Japanese cards in...well, Japanese?

It seems that you misunderstood Magik.

What he means is that the best way to get Angels is to but Booster boxes like (not necessarily) Future Sight. Small expansions have smaller card pools so getting your desired card will be a lot easier compared to large expansions like Time Spiral.

As for the Japanese cards... Yes, they are indeed in Japanese. These foreign cards are valued highly by some players, like Chinese-Simplified, due to their "exotic" appearance.

    Oh, sorry, my mistake.
I suddenly remembered that my friend told me that it was monoWhite control.
I have this first impression on Turbo-Fog on having full of fog effects(I thought that's the reason it's called turbo-fog). I keep forgetting that the Turbo part is for card draw.
I keep forgetting that, thinking that it is Turbo-Fog.

I would like to apologize for my poor memory. Sorry for the disturbance.

Oh, could you please explain to me why do see my Fog lacking? I mean it has Dawn Charm, Holy Day, Pollen Lullaby, Story Circle and Battletide Alchemist?

    Thanks.

How about this deck? I am planning on building this.

This has no *** due to its non-budget friendly attribute.
The sideboard is to transform it to the mill type.
    How about it?

Isn't Lorwyn the block with the most angels?

I mean seriously, Lorwyn has four times the number of angels that Xth has.
Click here if you don't know what I am talking about.

  • posted a message on Just how rare are Rares?
I have read somewhere in these forums(or maybe in the mtg.com website, I don't remember) about rares printed as Rare-Rare, Rare-Uncommon, Rare-Common.

Somewhere in these forums is a thread about Thoughtseize being a Rare-Rare...

I don't know if this is true, I would just like to share what I've read

Having used to work at a call center I have lots of ‘stoopid’ people calls, couple of my favorite.

Guy call about his brand new 42” TV.
“The no sound and there’s this big Mu-Tay in the corner”
Me: Uhh do you have a ‘Mu-Tay’ button on your remote?
    “yeah”
    Me: Push it
Can now hear TV blearing in the back ground...
“You mean I can just turn the sound on and off with this little button!?!?! Wooah!!”
    Me: Sure can

LOL, that "Mu-Tay" part took a while to sink in.
Now that I realize what it means, LOL LOL LOL

I would just like to share this.

I too use Sprout Swarm but I use it in combo with Locket of Yesterdays.
    Just my 2 cents.

BTW, I too have a Fungi deck and it really does pack quite a punch.:D
Mind you, I just evolved it from the precon.:D

  • posted a message on Funniest plays at FNM/Tournaments
This happened in a tournament I just happen to pass by:

    Beginning of the Match:
Player 1 Plays a Treetop Village
    Player 2: That's illegal...
    Player 1: What? Why?
    Player 2: ...illegal...
    Player 1: ...
    Player 2: Judge!!
    Judge: Yep that's illegal. You're DQ'ed.

Turns out, it was a Lorwyn Block Constructed Tournament.:D

  • posted a message on Breaking Might of Oaks
Inspired by yesterday's Cranial Extraction and an article from magicthegathering.com, I came up with this wonderful idea.

How about Spellwild Ouphe? You could slap on a Might of Oaks on it and then slap a Protective Bubble to hinder all those other nasty burn/removal.

How about putting in Wizened Cenns and Battletide Alchemists in there.
These will give you damage prevention as well as very large beatsticks.

    Quote from TheChosen1
Morph this list power ranger-style into WGb, for 4x darkness, and 4x extirpate. darkness for obvious reasons, and extirpate because it simply WRECKS everything. Moreso than pithing needle. One Wrath + One/Two Extirpate = turbofog player a lot happier, depending on what creatures you tag.

    How about Battletide Alchemist?

Having 1 of these in play would allow you to prevent 1 damage.
Having 2 of these in play would allow you to prevent 4 damage.
Having 3 of these in play would allow you to prevent 9 damage.
Having 4 of these in play would allow you to prevent 16 damage.

Another good include with synergy to the Alchemist is Wizened Cenn. You could then have a good beatstick.
