I feel like we might want to use Jace, Vryn's Prodigy and take a slower, grindier, more midrangey approach. We might be able to use the Royal Scions once they exist in such a build, too.
You get a double cast copy off ral and let that resolve, then cast your copy spell targeting the original double cast and get a copy of your copy spell. The copy spell is still on the stack. Copy it again. Repeat. Profit.
I sure want him to, but not sure if you would want him alongside too many counterspells.
I feel like you'd want him in a tapout-style, discard-focused deck. Maybe kinda midrange-y.
I tried splashing white for that a little, but I feel it makes the mana too inconsistent if you also want to run field of ruin to stand a fighting chance against tron. Maybe you're right though and what I'm missing is a finisher that's getting the job done quicker than Keranos. Maybe playing a 1/1 split of Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet and Tasigur, the Golden Fang instead of Ral and Keranos would be a good idea to try; they're both part of the toolbox and potentially win way faster than Keranos or Ral. Also, Kalitas helps a lot in some matchups like Dredge or aggro strategies.
I'll try that, thank you for the input.
I think if you'd like something strong that's not too hard to play, you could try out burn. Basically just Lightning Bolt them to death. You can try that out and if you don't like it, chose something else, but it could be a good starting point.

I haven't read all of it, but it seems to be up to date and quite extensive.
Good luck!
Hello, everyone,
a couple days ago, the thought occured to me that with Mission Briefing being a card now you can play Snapcaster Mage's effect on two cards with different names now, making the effect viable for two of the cards you get with Gifts Ungiven. The idea of a Gifts pile containing Snapcaster Mage, Kolaghan's Command, Mission Briefing and a specific instant or sorcery spell you need at the moment started to form. At that point I knew I needed to build a Grixis Gifts list with a toolbox approach. That was what got me to the Gift Box deck.
I started to toy with really weird ideas, including cards like Death Denied or splashing green or white either for a Life from the Loam Retrace package or for Unburial Rites.
Allow me to share the list I'm on at the moment so you see what jank level I'm on right now.
As you can see, it's mostly one-offs. That's because you have a greater variety to choose from with Gifts this way. Also, the deck plays Mystical Teachings as an additional engine for the tutoring. Kolaghan's Command and Disentomb help buying back Snapcaster Mage and can be grabbed with the same Gifts as him. Also, they add creatures to the Gifts toolbox, allowing us to play Keranos, God of Storms as a tutorable finisher. This also makes the Fulminator Mage in the sideboard way more relevant.
The deck is not particularly good, I'm afraid, but resolving those Gifts Ungivens feels amazing and you should try it if you feel like it. Also, please tell me if there's anything blatant I'm missing and ask if you have any questions about card choices or matchups. It's likely i won't be able to answer all the matchup questions as I'm really new to the deck and only just started playing against a couple decks.
I really do hope there is some kind of future for this deck, because I really feel that it's a sweet one, playing really cool interactions.
