A lord is slang for a creature that boosts other creatures of the same type. Such as Undead Warchief for zombies, or Elvish Champion for Elves. Or any Sliver Usually providing +1/+1 and occaisonally some other sort of benefit like the above linked cards. In this case, Mayor of Avabruck gives all humans +1/+1 when hes not transformed, hence why hes pretty much a 4-of in any human deck.
I'm going to keep the Elite Inquisitors in there for now, as this will be used in my casual playgroup (with lots of vamps and werewolves) as much as a FNM. On the topic of Gideon, I like Novayru's reasonings on him. That and its probably my inner timmy as well lol. I'd be using my RDW for big competitive functions anyways.
Heres just a random/silly idea I've had, it would be for casual play with friends, usually 3-4 player FFA and 2-Headed Giant games. Nobody packs much in the way of removal, hence the lack of counters. Everything is pretty bog-standard aggro.
Anyways... heres what I'm leaning towards now after working stuff around a bit -
Went with the painlands since 1. They're cheaper than the current dual lands are anyways, and 2. I don't like the odds given the small base of actual basic lands.
So I just cracked open a Mikaeus. Any way I could fit him into my deck list on the previous page? Don't want a rather fitting mythic rare to go to waste lol.
