Buy Dominaria. There are so many legendary cards and lots of old reprints. There is even a new Karn Karn, Scion of Urza and a new mox, Mox Amber! Looks like a good set to me.
The first time I started playing Magic it was with a deck that someone gave me for free. A mono green deck and I would split it in half with my brother. I do not completely remember what the first card I played was but I remember that in that deck there was an axebane stag that I thought was the best card ever. That was one of the first cards I have ever played.
