I will have to learn how to use that autocard feature, thanks for throwing that up.
Your analyses are pretty spot on, I can see how those simple changes would have helped a lot.
I especially am nodding at the what could have been replaced in my initial main. Sag of Lat Nam would be much better in a constructed or token artifact deck and I learned the hard way in my limited tourney! I did manage to use his sac ability one play when he was targeted with a removal spell but it was short lived.
@ hoffmkr Thanks! When I opened my sealed packs, I stopped and stared at Grunn and was considering running him but due to my own internal conflicts (or confusions) I didn't. I was probably all hung up on mana curve or something fuzzy to which I was wrong and I don't know what I'm doing still it seems lol. I should have stuck with that gut reaction, goes to show the value of initial intuition.
I also see the spore/fungus synergies I missed too now.
So I did the back to back sealed decks for Dominaria. My first sealed went alright. I finished slightly above average. I'm cool with that as I'm still new-ish to the game.
My second sealed was abysmal and I am really quite upset about it, considering taking a break even, so I wanted to reach out and see where things might have gone awry. I'm posting the deck I built. Feel free to examine it and see where it was lacking. Is this just a plain bad deck or subpar in your opinion? I'm really thinking my deck building skills need lots of work. I also had a few misplays and hands I should have mulliganed. For fun I'm going to even go as far as showing my entire pool and asking how you would have built the deck from any colors.
I went 0-3, so I'm just feeling extra tilt because I had some wins previously and they served as a slight incentive, I feel like an idiot right now. Sorry for the woe is me post! So honest, critical feedback is appreciated. Thanks
Deck:
1x Traxos, Scourge of Kroog
1x Howling Golem
1x Voltaic Servant
1x Sparring Construct
1x Urza's Tome
1x Verdant Force
1x Tatyova, Benthic Druid
2x Zahid, Djinn of the Lamp
1x Academy Journeymage
1x Grow from the Ashes
1x Unwind
1x Befuddle
1x Blink of an Eye
1x Arcane Flight
1x Opt
1x Elfhame Druid
2x Saproling Migration
1x Sage of Lat-Nam
1x Krosan Druid
1x Broken Bond
1x Llanowar Elves
I did make some sideboard changes since the first build in games 2 and 3 with Urzas Tome and Unwind for Voltaic Servant and Sporecrown Thallid to go more aggro. Helped a little but wasn't enough.
What do you think? How would you have done it? One thing I noticed was that I really should have focused on removal and interaction cards. Input appreciated. Thanks

Appreciate it
