Cool just one more thought. What about the Trepanation blade? I just thought it my be a good finisher combo with the Notorious Throng. It's also another distracting scary equipment card.
Yeah, this looks great! I am too easily suckered still by what looks very nice haha. But yeah your suggestion definitely tightens it up a bit, and I like the added rogue synergy. The equipment allows all the 1/1s to pack a little more punch as well. I will say Skullclamp will work best with Slither Blade or Thalakos Seer, particularly if I want want a double card draw, but it will kill of other things not paired with equipment.
I guess what I am hoping is that I could build the deck, so that once I have guild feud on the field, then I can destroy all lands. See what you think about this deck, with similar land destruction/annihilation elements and the elements you suggested. I'm not sure exactly how much land I will need. If you think it doesn't work thats fine, I'm experimenting but I want to make a deck that works. Also I appreciate the suggestions! Thanks! (If you think the deck is inhibited by Stone Rain or Roiling Terrain(maybe this would be a better place to insert Winter Orb), then I suppose I would add more creatures. I know guild feud can feel a little pointless with very few creatures in your deck. Also Subterranean Tremors is an awesome card!
I was thinking white might be good for protecting Guild Feud, like Devoted Caretaker, Karmic Justice, or Greater Auramancy, and Second Sunrise. I'd defer to what you thought, but it seems like that could be useful. Otherwise I could stick to artifacts, like Skull of Orm or Crystal Chimes, and honestly I still like the idea of using Winter Orb. I can also sub Scabland for Ancient Tomb for White. Maybe all of this kind of thinking belongs in a sideboard.
Also I thought Conduit of Ruin might be useful but in the end I am afraid that he would take up space.
Also I appreciate the deck suggestion, I'm a fairly new magic player and I don't own a lot of Eldrazi Cards and I'm more interested in running a budget deck, so here is how I'd modify it. I'm open to criticism, and really appreciate suggestions. I also think the annihilator effect goes well with the whole permanent destruction thing, also Oblivion Sower is a thought for messing with their land. I do need help choosing creatures or proportions at least. Anyways thanks for the help!
I wanna see if I can build a deck around Guild Feud, and then use Winter Orb and Armageddon as a way of slowing down their decks and forcing my opponents to participate in the fights incited by Guild Feud. I might also need to use a board wipe like Wrath of God to maintain the control I want, so that I send their decks into the graveyard and pummel them with my large creatures at the same time.Let me know if you have any great ideas! Thanks!
So I tried to build a deck around Elbrus, the Binding Blade. I think there is a general theme throughout, but the synergy needs to be tighter.Let me know what you think! I did want to include Glissa, the Traitor but I ended up wanting to keep green out of it so far.
Haha thanks, I appreciate the deck suggestions. Do you think there is a different angle to go with these decks or another way to make them more budget? Maybe thats the nature of the beast but I'd open towards heading that direction though I do like the current synergy. Particularly Thing in the Ice with Consuming Aberration is hilarious. The angel deck is also pretty sweet with lots of potential Brisela, Voice of Nightmares! I started to make budget suggestions but each card is good that I don't want to get rid of it, ugh.
Hey! You're back! Also the previous deck has gone over well in my playgroup!
After having a think, I am leaning towards Gisela, The Broken Blade and Bruna, The Fading Light, but I have less thoughts on how to build a deck around them.
Hey, so I was inspired to build this deck by these 3 cards Thing in the Ice, Gisela, the Broken Blade, and of course Bruna, the Fading Light. Functionally, I was hoping to make the deck work around Thing in the Ice non horror board wipe, which does lead me to question whether Gisela, the Broken Blade and Bruna, the Fading Light cease to be horror upon transformation? If so, not a big deal it does not dissuade me. Anyways, I was gonna throw in Archangel Avacyn, to give my creatures indestructible if necessary. I'm not sure she or Avacyn, Angel of Hope, especially since the latter is a little pricey. Anyways basic idea is to board wipe and then to hit them, right now the deck is a little rough and I am in need of little direction and more noncreature spells. Any help would be appreciated, also any special land suggestions would be helpful.
Well,it has come a long way. It is a much better deck than the one I initially tried to build. I definitely learned a lot from your suggestions, and the explanations for your suggestions are really helpful. I may ask you more questions later, but you have already helped me more than I expected. Thanks. Also that sideboard is vicious but great. I mean the whole deck is pretty ruthless.
