Hello, I have a quick question about the resolution of static abilities.
If I have a Forgotten Ancient with no counters on it and my opponent casts a Shock. It is my understanding the Forgotten Ancient's ability goes on the stack above Shock, so it resolves first. But what would happen if, in response this ability triggering, my opponent casts another Shock. Would there be a second copy of the Ancient Forgotten's static ability?
Is this the correct way to resolve this situation=
1- +1+1 counter
2- Shock
3- +1+1 counter
4- Shock
