Well, there is a guy in my group who used to play it, and played it in a green-white deck against my Sakashima deck. I made about 80-ish copies, and forced him to play each one out. While I had nothing to do the next day, he had his job and sleep and other things to worry about. I think it took until about game 61 or 62 where I had enough to take it out of his deck and create another 30 copies ("being nice"). Mind you, this was about 1 a.m. when I did this, and he was definitely a bit more tired than I was.
Took it out of his deck immediately afterwards, and never played it again.
Iname as One needs to be played from your hand, and put into your graveyard. Neither effect happens, since the removal to the command zone keeps him from touching the grave, so he's just a 12 cost vanilla 8/8... Weak.
No, no. You let him hit the graveyard. Then when his ability triggers, exiling him, THAT is when you move him to the Command Zone. That way, he now reads
When Iname as One is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, you may move him to the Command Zone. If you do, return target Spirit permanent card from your graveyard to the battlefield.
Much better, though the first ability still sucks. =p
Not bad for someone who's new to the site, but for the love of god, man, RESIZE YOUR IMAGES. Seriously, I'm on my 1600x900 display, and your pics are still stretching my screen. Shrink it down a touch, man.
It helps a little to keep the mind off of what's going on, it hides a card you just drew... I personally do it fairly often, partially because it lets me remember what I have in my hand, partially because there are some people I play with that tilt when they hear that, and partially because I feel the need to keep my hands busy constantly.
Considering there are two white decks, and the post immediately above yours wasn't bighaben's, your "pretty clear" is about as clear as mud.
On topic, I like the idea, and maybe even looking up the little 30-card decks and running from there may not be a bad idea, as they were specifically geared to get new people to play. I know at my local Walmart they have a deck with extra cards behind it, and I don't think it would be too hard to find them on ebay either. In addition, why not have one of the later sessions start with Intro Packs? Again with the "designed for new players", the more recent ones are 60 cards instead of 40, and get the creative juices flowing in regards to upgrading.
Seems like a great idea, until you read Ranger of Eos and realize he can only grab creatures, not the Mass.
On topic, maybe Feral Hydra? It pumps even after it's out, and it can have your teammate(s) pump him up as well. Aside from that, I'd say Mom would be your best bet, with a couple other cards for backup depending upon the situation.
Yes, it does, and that's exactly why Wood Elves are bad. You see, you set up the next draw to be a creature (Momir's ability), then Wood Elves ETB shuffles your deck.
You know, I've always had the thought that a custom-cut high polymer eraser attached to the end of a low-RPM dremel bit may be amazing at erasing the crap out of a card.
Of course, I haven't tested this, so it may in fact be the best way to seriously damage the card, the dremel and bit, and quite possibly yourself, too, so take that idea with a grain of salt.
Either way, I've had the best success with dipping the corner of Worldwake foils into acetone and peeling the foil straight off of the card. Were I to find them, I'd probably hand about 10 or 11, with another used as a Penumbra Wurm token and the last as a custom-drawn Urami token. Works great, but you have to be fast or there'll be most of the foil left on the card.

5+ Card Infinite Combos - If you can show me how it works, and it's like a demented Rube Goldberg machine, I'll give you props for the play. Still, though, this is EDH. Leave the infintes for fighting games.
Mass LD - Sure, whatever. I still have my artifacts and mana dorks, so whatevs. Even Obliterate I'll tolerate, if there's a definite reason to do so.
Proxies/Gold-Bordered cards - I don't mind, though I would like to see some effort put towards getting tourney-legal versions. I also expect an MSE render or better if you are going to use proxies, as I'd like to be able to see what the heck they say.
As an aside, I've been thinking of going through and making renders using new frames and Oracle text for some of my older cards (stuff like Revised duals, Scroll Rack, and so on) and sliding them in the same sleeve as the original card. Thoughts?
Which also combos nicely with Goblin Bombardment and Altars and the like. Sure, it makes Oros your general, but that's like saying you'd take the handheld mini-nuke instead of the napalm-tipped cluster bomb.
Personally, I like him with Serenity, as it just wipes the board time and again of those pesky artifacts and enchantments.
What about Sabertooth Nishoba? It's a 5/5 for 4GW that compares to the Oversoul of Dusk, except it trades pro-black and the Avatar type for trample and the Beast type (among others). Sure, it'll die to Doom Blades and the like as long as the day is, but at least it doesn't get chumped by an Elspeth token every turn.
