I'm already running LOTV/spellbomb, I'm just curious of peoples opinions on whether it's worth it to bring in against snapcaster decks, specifically ones that also contain path. It hinders their gameplan, but isn't a hammer like it is against dredge or storm, so how much of our engine do we want to take out to combat a part of their gameplan if any?

What's the consensus on bringing in LOTV against snapcaster decks? Path, snap, path can be pretty brutal against us.

Played at a 200 person open, and finished 4-3-1, not stellar, but at least theres plenty of improvement to be made. In terms of what I played against, affinity feels like a super close matchup, Grixis death shadow is close but I would say in their favour because of temur battle rage, Burn is fine because of collective brutality(just don't get cheeesed out by ensnaring bridge) and r/g eldrazi is still new to me, not too sure where we stand in the matchup. Everything else I played against was a fair midrange deck, and I felt favored in all those matchups, which I think is a good reason to keep playing the deck, people are going to continue to jam Jace and BBe. Planning on running this deck back this weekend, just had a couple questions about sideboarding. With the random discard, it feels pretty hard to hold sideboard cards in hand, such as removal, or mainly Blood Moon. For example, if you keep a hand with blood moon against a deck you know it's good against, but your only enablers are random discard, it can be pretty tricky to keep in your hand until turn 3 to actually deploy it. So do we bring in Blood Moon against decks like g/r eldrazi or Death shadow, that while effective, could also be randomly discarded away while we're developing our board? Personally I was only boarding it in matchups when I knew I would have time to hold it until turn 3, like valakut, or tron. I also found I was sometimes casting removal on a less valuable target, before casting a random discard spell, out of fear of losing the removal spell entirely.

Yeah I feel some some sort of sweeping effect would be good, Young pyromancer was pretty good at gumming up the ground and buying my opponent time, what do you think about engineered explosives?

Hey, I played your list, playing B/r hollow one for the first time tonight at a local tourney. I went +1 Gurmag -1 Edge of autumn in the main, and I quickly realized this was a mistake, I think the correct amount of delve threats is 3. Too many times I would be stuck with an extra gurmag in hand after delving my graveyard away for the first one. Your list seemed really interesting too me with the 3 edge of autumn, it allows for more turn 1 hollow ones with faithless looting. I went 2-2 losing to U/r thing with jace and affinity. Got kind of unlucky against u/r not drawing any hollow ones after cycling through a bunch of cards games 2 and 3, while also fighting through a turn one relic in both games. The games against affinty felt like a straight up race, I sided in quite a bit of removal, but it still felt like we were largely ignoring each other and not doing alot of blocking. Affinity is definatly favored in the race scenario if you can draw any of your anti artifact sideboard cards, the simply have too many evasive threats. Are you ever sideboarding out threats, or do you keep the maximum amount of hits in after sideboard? I found it really hard to cut anything but edge of autumn, and maybe a gurmag angler.
