Grixis Death's Shadow, Burn, and Dredge are decks 2 thru 4 in the current meta (14-15% of total share). Since an early Auriok basically wins all those matchups, I keep a full four copies in my sideboard.
I get the downside of the card but it just seems like an easy call to me.
A lot of top players seem to be going to a single ETW in the side, I'm not sure it's all that great with the current plan. Literally last resort right?
Regardless, they are for different things. Gut Shot gives you an advantage when you snipe mana dork or an early creature in the mirror. Staticaster clears tokens, souls, affinity flyers.

Beat infect, burn, hollow one, red aggro (goblins/burn/the can't gain life dino), and some janky version of living end. Felt great.
