The End of an Era

I think 2 dismembers or 2 spatials will be great. I am starting to lean on the idea that 2x jace will be way strong.... drop solemn and 2nd snapcaster ( i run 2) and just the power of dropping a must answer threat early means our 6 drops will resolve more than not. I see jace as a must answer card that we should be jamming for the sake of removal and life gain. 4 mana brainstorm that fogs the opponent and as the potential to end the game seems good. Thoughts?

emmy the promised end looks great against an active jace/control deck.

I am torn between 2nd ugin or MD sundering titan. Resolved ugin almost is gg and can hit jace which I believe is better than land denial. I understand it's not gg vs jace decks but it answers jace the turn it resolves which seems better than leaving them with a jace even without lands

pithing needle over spyglass. can be fetched with trinket mage. trinket mage package is going to be really important if jace catches on.

Yes, we have historically been 75-25 against them but they ARE getting better with Jace. Jace gives them amazing draws over and over again. Our top end is big but their ability to dig for threats and counters becomes huge with Jace. you are right about sundering titans value may be going up, I just haven't been main decking it that much and don't miss it. with 2 snaps and 2 dismebers or 2 spatials or combo of the 2 our aggro matchup is greatly improved than just jamming 2 wurmcoils. 3x chalic is so much gas its hard to not run them. This deck needs wide answers and chalice offers just that.

Id drop 1 wurm for 1 snap. 1 remand for 1 repeal. Add pithing needle for trinket mage package. Maybe move sundering titan to sb and move some form of permanent removal main? Im thinking we want a clean jace answer and other problematic permanents main. repeal is nice but im thinking "Imprisoned in the Moon" but really not sold on it. 2nd cyclonic rift or plus 1 ugin/all is dust with snap?

I am excited for Jace to be legal. I do think some matchups will get harder for us no doubt but I am hopeful that our deck will become a much better trinket mage deck. pithing needle will become a great hoser. Im scared of RUG blood moon/jace/tarmo-snap decks the most. Also, BBE cascading into kcommand is feeling more like a value train than jace (yes i have sat across from jace many times and understand the brainstrom effect). That said, we run Thirst which I do belive at instant speed is stronger.

Now when evaluating our hands we have to think, does this get run over by early aggression and does it have the ability to find an answer for jace? (THIS IS WHAT IS GOING TO BE HARD)

All-in-all I am very optimistic and do feel we are playing one of the most powerful decks ever made with respect to the environment it is in.

With spot removal going up i do think chalice will be in a good spot. But again, BBE into kcommand is like grixis control-grind for jund
