I run it in my Mathas, Fiend Seeker Mardu spellslinger deck and it is absolutely amazing with Toshiro Umezawa. I had one game where I established a massive board presence with Rise of the Dark Realms and was able to maintain my army through three to four board wipes by repeatedly casting Thrilling Encore with Toshiro and recasting Rise of the Dark Realms with Mizzix's Mastery.

I had been wanting to build a dimir ninjutsu deck (with Sygg) for a while when Yuriko was spoiled. Now I have her list ready to be tested this week. My only concern with her is that she might end up overplayed and with a bad reputation.

Brudiclad tickles my fancy just because he is so different from all the izzet legends so far. Can't wait to turn treasure tokens into 15 Scourge of the Throne. Or attacking with 870.000 Precursor Golems after a single Cackling Counterpart.

While I am not directly going to build around them as commanders, Thantis, Xantcha and Varchild will be all-stars in my Gahiji deck, which I will turn into Saskia. Forced attacks just go so well with Ghostly Prison effects.

(I am on the road, so no card tags sry)

Does anyone have space to test Mox Amber? I just realized that this is probably one of the best decks for it. Ever play a 2 drop, then attack with it, drop Yuriko, and regret that you can't replay your 2 drop for value? Now you can if you have one of these. Just be sure to always use it first when she is out during any particular turn in case of shenanigans.
seems like a limited and rare upside for all the times it will just be a dead draw.

I also threw together a little list: https://deckstats.net/decks/72484/1049316-yuriko-the-tiger-s-shadow-aggr

I decided to go all in and try to win with Yuriko's abilities. That means: no Eldrazi or other shenanigans, but just play lots of Ninjas, lots of evasion, and some high cmc spells. A lot of the high CMC spells can be cast for cheap alternative costs, so I hopefully don't have to tap out often (many of them have already been mentioned in this tread. Not sure if Beseech the Queen has been mentioned, but it also has cmc 6). I will only be able to test this deck on thursday, but I hope it will live up to my expectation of Edric on steroids. Attack early and often with a bunch of small critters, draw lots of cards, make everybody lose lots of life, and deal with troublesome opponents via an extensive suite of counterspells and removal. I decided to go low on the land count, since I expect to draw a lot of cards and not often miss my land drops. In order to get the most out of Yuriko, I opted to replace some basic lands with mana rocks (special technology: Mistvein Borderpost, which is functionally Dimir Guildgate but with Yuriko synergy). The low land count might come back to haunt me, but what's the fun of brewing commander decks if you can't experiment once in a while.

I am building her as a control deck that wins with plenty of evasive critters and all the Arcane Adaption effects. I think the lifeloss will be enormous if you draw at least three, more often five cards per turn. I won't run "rearrange top of library" cards in favor of just getting more bodies and more card draw triggers overall. Mana Severance and Trench Gorger are good late game library manipulation, just like Insidious Dreams as has been mentioned. Wound Reflection and the new battlebond demon that doubles life loss at eot might also be decent finishers. Overall, I will want to play this deck as a control deck with lots of answers. Expensive cmc removal and counterspells that can be cast for free fit right in, such as Commandeer and the wonderful Pthisis.

(I am travelling until next week, so I can't do card tags for a while. Sorry about that)

EDIT: managed to get a decent internet connection and added some card tags

This is also one of these commanders that are just downright disgusting with Helm of the Host. More ninjas and more triggers per ninja each turn.

How did nobody mention Standardize and Unnatural Selection yet? Also, it's probably too weak but it's hilarious how all modes of Trickery Charm have some fun synergy with this deck. Deep-Sea Kraken is probably also really good. And Trench Gorger. (Sorry about not using card tags due to my crappy phone)

I don't know about power level, but in terms of originality and cool build-around legends this set is a home run, imho.

Some valid points, Tears. However, if we are forcing all of your opponents to attack, chances are some of them will attack the creatureless control player as well. And just because we are forcing others to attack and defending ourselves with rattlesnakes doesn't mean we can't attack the control player ourselves and/or control their boardstate with permanent removal.

Elephant Grass is cool, and Repercussion is kind of like Bedlam.

I am sure it was just an oversight since you already mentioned Dread, but No Mercy absolutely has to go in this deck. Same is true with Sandwurm Convergence. If you are feeling risky, you could even include Form of the Dragon. Also, Retribution of the Ancients is a nifty Jdefense against token swarm attacks with Thantis.

(Sorry for not linking the cards, but my crappy phone won't let me do it)

It's a pity you can't equip Xantcha with Assault Suit.

Oh, my bad, my mistake was assuming the initial target gets extra spells targeting it. So if you have 9 golems and target one with a copy spell, all 9 trigger for the other 8 golems, but not the initial one. So you have 8 golems with 9 spells each, and one golem with 1 spell. So it should be 73 total spells resolving, not 81. So after the resolution of those spells, you have 73 more Precursors, each of which make 2 golems for a total of 146, plus the original 9, which is 228. Pretty sure that's my final answer. But yes, probably enough to take out 3 players at once.
I think that's it. Hilarious. Excuse me while I build this deck.
    Oh my God.

Apparently it's more than that. Way, way more. As in, about 4000 more: https://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/magic-fundamentals/magic-rulings/796449-precursor-golems-and-copy-creature-spells

LOL, I actually had this thought yesterday - that all the new copies actually see all the clones created by the last resolution. But I discussed it with a Judge friend of mine and he convinced me I was wrong.

Anyways. Over 4000 Golems. That should do the trick.
