Good article on CFB about Martyr proc. Pretty different from most of the lists on this thread, what do you all think?
Credit to Clay on the FB group for finding the article.

Good work Jiskel! It seems like the MB Leylines were pretty helpful. I only realized the other day that Leyline means Gifts Ungiven can't be cast, which is a sweet G1 advantage on storm.

Has anyone here thought about running Karn Scion of Urza as a one-of or two of? The Professor at TCC suggested it off hand, and it would be consistent card advantage for the deck, but it's not a threat. Maybe Thraben Inspector is just a lower opportunity cost option.

@Semoreh: I've found maindeck settle the wreckage to be effective, especially with Bogles and 5-c Humans running around. It can be a non-bo with ghostly prison out, but that's not a bad problem to have.

I used to play MTGO Open play, but I got hated on by some people for using a "good deck". Tournament practice isn't much more spikey, and there are plenty of players on it. Has anyone else been hated out of the open play area on MTGO?

Semoreh, I'm not one of the more experienced players here, but I'm debating going back to the Mono-W list over the Orzhov version. Mono-W feels faster and more consistent, and is able to run more GQ/FoR to fight against Tron. The Orzhov version is able to run Castigate which helps against combo, and Orzhov Charm for better protection/recursion of Martyr/Serra along with being removal if needed. Sometimes the fetch/shock lands are the difference between being above 30 life and under 30 life, which has made a difference in a few games.

I'm really intrigued by the Glittering Wish versions to provide a toolbox, but I haven't tried it out yet.
I do find the Orzhov more fun and interesting to play than mono-W, and that may be even more the case with the 3-color versions. I'm interested to see other's perspectives on this question.

    @Lear_the_cat

What would you cut in your sideboard for Rule of Law/Damping Sphere?

Has anyone played against BBE jund yet? I know the MOC results aren't really representative of the meta, but I'm interested to hear how different builds have done against the deck.

Has anyone seen the Maryr decklist CFB posted today? It's listed very last in the article. Gabriel says Avignon 5-0'd with it.

Has anyone played something like this?
Maybe it's not appropriate to post about the deck in here since it doesn't even run Proc.
The argument I can see for a pure aggro build like this is to get under control decks running JtMS, while still having advantage over other aggro decks.

Has anyone played a RW version of Martyr to run Lightning Helix? That could be helpful against aggro, and be a way to hit Jace (especially if they are brainstorming or bouncing right away).

Lately I've been playing a lot against UW control, and I'm debating trying out Hour of revelation. Any thoughts on this in a *** slot or in place of Fracturing Gust for the Mono-W version? I'll have to try counting nl-permanents next time I play and see how often I can play it for WWW.

New here, I've been running mono-white Martyr-Proc that Saffron Olive did his budget videos on.

Reading through some of the past posts, I notice that people have started to run Cast Out in place of O-ring. Since we're talking about answers for JtMS, I hope this question is appropriate.

Can someone in favor of O-ring list pro's and cons, and likewise for Cast out?

If I ran cast out, I don't see many match-ups where I would cycle it, since even storm has Baral/electromancer as targets. The flash I could see being helpful, but not against JtMS or other walkers. I'm not sure how often I would hold it up at instant speed, but not having played it I'm very curious about that aspect. I can see the extra (1) cost mattering, as getting Baral on turn 3 can make all the difference in the world.

Thanks in advance for any comments/analysis.
