I'm surprised to see her depicted this way. I liked the "beautiful Medusa" approach in Ixalan (which yes, is an ancient artistic trope of depicting Medusa as beautiful, but cursed, rather than cursed to be ugly).
this is jsut how mtg art is now, they make ugly characters so the people who play it can relate
they mad the concept blacker
what a flavourless boring walker, art doesn't match the abilities and the overall look seems way more generic than any walker before, this feels a reject from the chinese masters series
no, I think they have learned, they learned they can make a rare into a mythic and put it into a set no one wants to buy and that will suddenly change it into a set people want to buy
Why reprint a card people want into a Masters set, a set people will buy already, when they can shove it in this and move more product? I'm sure we'll see at least one more chase mythic in this set before spoiler season is done
Wizards is great at taking the money of fools
Really? You must be joking right? A set no one wants to buy?! There are 37 cards spoiled as of this comment, and you make a judgement that no one wants to buy the set? Really?
And, what's more, is you're actually advocating a high price reprint that people have been calling for for years should be in the over priced and underwhelming Masters sets?
I give up trying to understand what people want from this game.
Yes, a set that wouldn't have any cards legal in standard or modern would probably sell really poorly. Few people are excited for draft sets as they are for standard sets. My point is they clearly reserved several high priced staples for printing in this set instead of a Masters set to push the selling of this product. Draft sets are usually not printed and sold to the extent of a standard set, most people know this and so does wizards, so they kept a few gems to incentivize sales and they decided not to put a few of those cards (doubling season and nemesis) into masters because they knew it would sell with the EV it had and selfishly kept them for Battlebond.
Yes, I am advocating Doubling Season and Nemesis should be printed in those other sets as well as this set. I don't want to buy Battlebond, I don't want to play Battlebond, I want to buy Modern Masters and have Modern Masters have better cards in it. I also think the price of Modern masters should drop. I also think every expensive card should be printed and reprinted again until they drop severely in price. Doubling season could have fit just as well in the place of the infamous Tree in the latest Modern set, and it could have fit in at rare in this set. It is weird how you extrapolated so much false data about the way I think from one post and all concerning things I didn't even talk about. You clearly can't understand what people want from this game because you're thinking is so very limited, cheers anyway though.

This card is bad though. Play this with slimefoot and suddenly you have a bunch of cards in your deck that are bad in multiples, playing another slimefoot kills your first, and playing a second or third copy of this does...nothing. Hidden Stockpile this is not. Firstly it takes a lot of mana to use and requires a creature in your graveyard, what turn are you going to be able to turn this on? How many times can you turn this on in a game? If you are running the other two spoiled saproling token producing sorceries/instants what room is there in your deck for creatures? Secondly this is such a bad sac outlet, it requires TWO saprolings to sacced, meaning if you have an odd number, you're out of luck on getting any extra payoff. This card is either for Brawl or Commander, because it's a complete whiff in standard
