Hey y'awl . . . my apologies for my n00b question . . . I'm an old geezer and have been away from Magic for 10-years and have never played in a sealed deck tourney yet . . .

1. - How many lands does one receive to play in a sealed deck tournament, and

2. - I will be playing in a Morningtide release event (GroundHog Day) at a local shop where we'll get a sealed Lorwyn deck and two Morningtide boosters . . . ANY TIPS so I don't look like a goof ??

I for one rather like the mana cost of Medowboon and would love to include it in my blue/white deck.

2WW is sure a give a killer hang-over when it leaves play and pumps up the rest of the critters to +1/+1.

Absolutely correct . . . the folklore appears to generally drawn from Celtic tales geographically centered in the British Isles. Although since it has the Celtic flavour, we cannot ignore the shared histories of the Norse and Gaelic's.

Some examples . . .

Merrow (Muirruhgach), Ellyllon (elves), etc., as well as some of the classes - Druids, are certainly a very strong indication of this block's theme / roots.

Just getting into the game after a 10-year hiatus. I am realising that I have quite a steep learning curve to tackle before I feel comfortable again . . . it appears that I have forgotten most everything.

Anywho ~ I'm from Barrie, Ontario, Canada and you could most likely catch me at a FNM game at my local shop.
