How much would a complete set of 4-of everything legal in modern set you back(not counting reprints)? About $25,000? Or even more than that? That's a lot of money
Having failed to qualify for Nationals at various points during the past
few months, I am looking to grind in an Friday. I am looking for a deck
to play that wil assure me a Top 4(as the top 4 are assured a place).
I need the collective knowledge of the MTGSalvation Forums to help me
get a deck that will get me into nationals.
Are you drafting alara, as in alara block - Shards of Alara / Conflux / Alara Reborn,
or Alara as in - Alara Reborn / Alara Reborn / Alara Reborn?
If the previous, I always tried to draft a strong base colour in the
Shards of Alara booster, not limiting myself to a shard too early.
(Bombs are obviously an exception)
In Conflux, I'd expand on that base with another colour.
Alara Reborn, you just profit. But seriously, you'd get such good cards
in the Alara Reborn Booster that you'd be able to wheel strong cards in
your shards from pick 1-3.
If you're drafting all Alara Reborn, I'd suggest Cascade!
Get in on some good removal, and ride the cascade to victory!
Might be horribly wrong, but it never worked out to bad for me.
I recently started playing MTGO for the drafting experience, but
now I think I want to get in some standard, which would make
playtesting and the like much easier.
I don't, however, have a lot of cards, so I'm thinking of buying a
deck to play. The problem is that I don't want to spend too much
money on a deck if I can help it.
Do you guys have any suggestions for decks I can play that are
fairly competative, but won't break the bank?
Where's the "Nothing" option.
Seriously, SoFaI might be the second best equipment in extended, but it's still miles behind jitte. Jitte is so good because it doesn't just do something, it gives you options.
my opponent has 2 life with an activebloodchief ascension, when i lightning bolt him. does he die or survive? if you could provide rules references as well! thanks!
If I twincast a harrow, do i need to sacrifice a land for the copy as well?
Because the copy doesn't get played, i think i only sacrifice once...
Am i right?
Everyone who likes D&D, Thunderstone, etc.
Check out this insane kickstarter project for MYTH.
It's a fully cooperative miniature game, with heroes monsters and quests played out with custom-decks for each

Saw the competition this morning, thought I'd do something... It's not the best, went for a Guru-Land feel...

Thank you
my Samsung Star…
Can anyone help me?
You've got double dragons, kick-ass cats, knight-ladies.
Not to mention the mythic shard-creatures...
Triple Shards, the guy with the biggest bombs win. Point.
