This is just lame........whats the reason?? C18 spoilers?? Just dont get it. 4th of July was barely passable as its not exactly a shut everthing down Holiday that a keystroke upload couldnt have been done. Now nothing today?? I guess Im just expecting too much.

To quote the WOTC M19 Story page:
"New stories for Core Set 2019, by Kate Elliott, will be presented each Wednesday through June, July and August"

I only find one SERIOUS flaw in this card.........we will have to waituntil a new Anthology to get it in Foil

Prob Karn is colorless and artifact matter. Teferi must be on the bant or esper deck. Elspeth probably is either on the bant, esper, or Jund deck. Garruk is prob on the Jund or Bant deck.

And if I’m not mistaken Tamiyo is on bant deck

Wouldnt that mean that the second Planeswalkers are not foils?, since we now have seen the two subcommanders for the UR Artifacts deck.

Kind of confused and dissapointed in these. Nothing really grabbing my attention so far. The mask bant walker seems not very much Bant at all with the artwork. I like Windgrace and Saheeli seems pretty good, just ..... not sure what to think

ON TOPIC:
Intereting that Ugin is possibly the first planeswalker?
Interesting that Bolas need to use deception and manipulation to make up for his apparent weakness of physical strength compared to other dragons, and that this mental manipulation is seemingly the reason for the Elder Dragon Wars
Not sure if Ugin or Bolas was influencing Jins story or if he was subconsciously tailoriing it to be a little more Pro-Dragon so a not to enrage Atarka and keep her satisfied becaus if he staring telling of the terribleness of Bolas's actions instead of grandizing them she may have just bit him in half.
Three episodes left to see what happens at Ugins grave and how Bolas sparks.

Well considering this combo was mentioned three different times in the thread of Liliana's Contract card spoiling and that thread is still on the first page of the Rumor Mill, I am also surprised you hadnt considered it.

I really liked the story.
Although I thought this was supposed to be more of a Bolas origin story and it seems we are getting more Ugin origin??
There are a few left (and it seems we are still headed for more Ugin stories now on Tarkir) but so far there seems to be a big disconnect on the story and how we did Not get an Ugin card in M19.
Just from this story we should have had a Flip Walker card from Ugin.
It would only make sense if we return back to Bolas point of view and his new "kingdom"

I think the deck themes are interesting.
What I find more surprising is just how off base most of us seemed to be in terms of colors, themes snd planeswalkers.
Granted we havent seen much yet but seemingly we were all way off in our hopes dreams and predictions.
We shall see next week right?

So do any of these themes translate to the Planeswalkers that people want to see??

I have to agree. It seems hard to believe this art was specifically commisioned for this card.
It doesnt match or represent or depict anything about vampiric tutor at all. Cant even tell that he's even a vampire.
They tried to tie it together with the flavor text but that doesnt work either.
I would be dissapointed as a Judge to get these.

These arts are simply resplendid. Amazing. To bad they are way out of my price range.
Elimates some of those new arts on the planeswalker poster from being sdcc as well.
I miss the good old days of actual artists like nielsen......its just so much better and authentic.

I have very much enjoyed the history lesson style of these stories.
Tht being said, this episode is just......well not much. Nothing to miss if you didnt read this week.
Didnt move the ball at all and just wasted a episode on fluff that doesnt seem to matter.
Not sure why they keep doing this,,,,wasting a week of storyline. Just dissapointing and will force a much more rushed telling of important things later on. Oh well.

The Liliana pic shows her very powerful with the veil featured prominently
The Jace pic is similar to his Mindsculptor pic in the energy between the hands style.....
