Do you guys have the same complaints with Elves/Merfolk as Humans? Spirits is similar but we talked about how the guys don't get as big.
no because they dont push other creatures. I mean as an example if you kill key cards like Lord of Atlantis, all other creatures loose his abilitys, but if you kill thalias Leutnant Rest dont loose anythink they Gained. If you kill kitesal, you gain back your card but champion and Leutnant keeps the power of entering firebooter...so you need now 2 additional removal instead 1

Ok, storm plays now 4 grapeshot and 4 bolt, merfolk needs only 4 dismember and 4 spatial, death and taxes 4 path and 4 dismember, coco the same... and so on...how many needs humans? Nothing? seems fair. Problem is NOT removal...its creatures with all you need. They are to many good creatures...spells with bodys all in one. We need Hate, because good creatures for humans coming all sets now. Manaproblems dont exist for them anymore too and this is for me the real unfair Problem.we even cant counter this nonsense. When it is to much? Begin printing Hate now bevore to late

Only 8 removal Main? And 3 side? THX a lot...so easy...we all need 8 removal Main except humans. If we play all 4 ghost quarter and 4 tectonic edge, and 3 damping sphere Side... tron is not a Problem too. Seems solutions are so easy. Maybe 8 gravehate main too vs. All this gravebased decks? What do you think why we cannot do this all gkouro?

Yeah sure it won a lot games, but its more difficult to See which games you lost because no relic or not enough creatures because of chalice. But lets not begin this Diskussion again. Everyone should play how he will

Not so hard like bridgedecks or maybe affinity and boggles (for me)...

We have had very different experiences with Affinity and Bogles, then. I've yet to drop a match to Bogles (small sample, but minimum 5/0) and only ever lost o e set to Affinity (many more games against that one). A Chalice on 1 shuts down almost everything Bogles does save 9 cards, and only 5 of those function without another Enchantment, and RBomb out of the board cleans everything else up. Affinity is tricky in game one, but there's lots of good things to bring in for the next two.

Ensnaring Bridge, now, that's entirely different problem.

Edit: I guess Monday is becoming upgrade piece mail day. While not specific to SPE, it's the deck these are going in. 4 new SSGs and I was finally able to complete my original set of GQs by finding a fourth.

the reason is easy. Because i dont use chalice. In humans this doesnt matter but vs. Bogles and affinity

Humans is hard even with practice. Not so hard like bridgedecks or maybe affinity and boggles (for me)...but really hard like elves (which i prefere over humans)

Humans was on the decline the last few weeks. Now it seems to be back at one event. All you can do in such a case is to nominate Humans as deck of the week.
are you sure? Or only an opinion. Please go check again. Tron 33 stars (mtg top 8 ) and humans WITHOUT this event 32 stars and this month only....the weeks you say it was bad. How it will be if good weeks? So talking about tron is ok, but humans are only flavor? Bevore such words, allways check it please ( was an easy and not deep calculate in 2 minutes). Seems people loves the illusion to have a Chance while tron dont give you this illusion...but they are both on the same powerlevel so its ok talking humans now if its ok talking tron and it is not only since this weekend

Ugh. Please guys. Humans is what we've been asking for for years - a solid fair deck that helps police the format but has weaknesses to exploit. Sorry it doesn't play snapcaster.

Twin got years. Give humans half the time twin got please.

It even loses (ish) to the same decks as twin (bigger snap decks and jund).

Some people just want twin back lol, and unless that happens or jund is the #1 deck by far these types won't be happy with anything else being at the top of the heap. I like humans being in the format. It is a cool deck with tribal synergy that has built-in combo hate and clear weaknesses. Plus, and I feel like I make this argument every six months going back to tron, storm, grixis shadow, etc, whenever one of these decks rises, the weaknesses are well-known enough that the meta shifts slightly. I'd argue that Humans had been a bit down the past couple months as more and more UWx control rose due to good matchups. In fact, I'd argue blue control is the best it has been since the twin ban specifically because of humans and hollow one being both popular and decent matchups.

If Humans gets banned, combo becomes better - fact. Thalia and Meddling Mage are the sole reasons that storm has been a solid option but not great. If you want to keep cheering for a ban, understand the ripples that will go outward that will lead to the next set of gripes.
i dont vote for twin unban and i dont will this, so dont talk to me please like it is a twin people blue Problem. I think we have some reason, since some months, to talk about humans and his metashare/succes. Talking means not Banning, but i dont sea any reason not to talk about humans. I See the danger in rising humans and his power. Time for some printing of Hate without hurting other tribals

Level and intensity is to less. Tell me any deck with 25% in the last 2 years? I am alarmed

December 2017 saw GP OKC, an actual GP and not a random Open, with 3 Gx Tron in the T8, a total of 6 in the T16, and a total of 8 in the T32. Truly awful. And then things got better as the metagame adapted. Also, again, that was an actual GP that Wizards cares about for banlist purposes. It was not an Open with 500 fewer players that we have already established is not often representative of the GP/MTGO meta.

Im pretty sure the February 2017 SCG Indy Open was also warped, but towards GDS instead. It was totally rampant for months and then died down. That's what Modern tends to do: stabilize. This Humans alarmism at a single Open is not justified.
yeah tron. Nice example....did we talk about stirrings? Seems so
