Has anyone seen the Maryr decklist CFB posted today? It's listed very last in the article. Gabriel says Avignon 5-0'd with it.

Has anyone played something like this?
Maybe it's not appropriate to post about the deck in here since it doesn't even run Proc.
The argument I can see for a pure aggro build like this is to get under control decks running JtMS, while still having advantage over other aggro decks.

So the decklist on CFB was an adaption of an earlier list that went 5-0 on MTGO. The Nassif deck isn't really Martyr Proc... as there are no Procs and Oketras Monumnet doesn't really fit in the control plan. Monument is better in a Soul Sisters list that can benefit from creatures entering the battlefield.

    The 5-0 MTGO list is:

And I play a mono white list like that alot. As do many others in this forum.

I've been thinking about the Jace question. I'm currently playing Demannic's Black version. (mostly - I like the Vizkopa combo more than he does - lets me finish games quicker)

I think Jace will warp Modern. If he starts showing up in my local meta I'm going probably going to find a way to add in the full 4 copies of Anguished Unmaking. Its a hard answer compared to the removable Banishing Light enchantments. What to take out I'm not sure.

I never played in the Jace standard but I do know that if they tap out turn 4 for Jace I might be happy. Then I can play Ranger of Eos or activate the Vizcopa Combo without worry about a counter/bounce spell. Cryptic Command is the stupidest card.

What about trying Lost Legacy? Is the BB too much? Is it the card draw? It's one less mana overall and could be played earlier with the combo matchups.

I have recently picked up the Mono-White Martyr Proc deck, after SaffronOlive featured it, and am doing well with it. Much better than some of my other "budget" decks. I'm beating the creature decks - Merfolk, Affinty, Goblins, Death and Taxes - but am struggling against a Esper Ojutai player at the local Modern events.

I really like the deck and think I may make the $$ commitment to the Orzhov version, since most people seem to think it is much better.
