If you take enough Sub-cellular Biology, you'll learn that all life is composed of simple, mechanical, chemical reactions. Thus, I'd define life as any system that has a consciousness.
I'm going to have to drop, I have finals cluttering the next week and just don't have time. Plus, I got matched with my two worst matchups two games in a row, so I have no chance at winning. Sadly, my metagame deck didn't actually get to play the metagame.
I agree that RDL is a burn deck, not RDW. It uses the same philosophy, and although it had permenants, they all are much more expendible, because they are still essentially burn spells when killed (Torchrunner, Fanatic, Maurader).
I'm going to sign up, but I have a feeling with final coming up there might be a chance I'll drop. But, my deck list right now is a BEAST, so I really hope I can complete the tournament.
to the kid that said r/g will become tier 1 not rdw/burn/sligh
ill bet you 10 bucks that rdw/burn will be better than r/g even though it will not be as popular
There is really no reason to play a pure RDW/burn deck over R/g Aggro. Aggor is pretty much the same, with better interactions. All you do is add K.Forests and R/G Hybrid lands, and then you can play Bramblewood Paragon and Tattermunge Witch, which will make the other Aggro matchups much better and give you some staying power versus removal.
Wow. Make him a 25/25, make 25 tokens, untap him to make him a 27/27, tap tokens make him a 69/69, tap him to make 69 tokens, untap him to make him a 71/71, tape 60 tokens to make him a 191/191, tap him to make 191 tokens, swing for 200. It would almost never happen, but if it did, it would be epic.
R/g Aggro, non RDW/Sligh, will be Tier 1. With 8 solid drops at 1cc, 2cc, and 3cc, it will flow extremely well. Plus, there is great synergy because most of these drops are either Goblins or Warrior, which is extremely beneficial.
Is the Liege worth it? 3/4 trample for 4 is a bit under the curve, and we all wish he had Haste. I think he might be too expensive, considering he would only double pump 11 other guys, 3 of which are pretty damn slow and expensive. I'd consider another 1 drop and maybe then I'd keep it.
4 Karplusan Forest
4 Grove of the Burnwillows
13 Mountain
Pretty aggressive, and extremely dangerous if Shared Animosity hits play. With three creatures in play, it's often +2/+0 to all of them, but gets to be more mid-late game, and ensures game ending power.
Ancestral Recall
Black Lotus
Painter's Servent
Grindstone
If you have 3 mana open, you win the game.

i love mws. i board in 4 cards and they are all in the bottom 5 cards even drawing 30+ cards didn't save me!

At the end of turn, return all creatures that were put into a graveyard from play this turn to play under their owner's control.
So cool. Comboliscious, but not broken.
