    None of them, but Saheeli has lots of tools to add to my Breya deck, and Aminatou has lots of tools to add to my Chromium deck, so yeah, I'm very happy about those two anyway... And who knows? Maybe I'll jump on the ninja bandwagon one day.

    Exactly. With that in mind, read Yuriko's effect again. Are you starting to see my issue now?
    Basically, what I'm saying is that, unless I'm missing something, it seems to me that Yuriko WANTS big costly cards in her deck, but NEEDS small cheap ones to actually work. It's the kind of contradictory card design that makes it hard to build around, at least for me :/

    Am I the only one who sees an issue here? Not with this particular deck, mind you, but with the concept as a whole: for this to have the "highest tempo available", it is ideal to have a lot of low-cost, difficult to block creatures, supported by cheap spells that draw you cards and/or allow your small guys to more easily do their things... But your commander, by her very nature, wants you to have high cost spells on top of your deck. High cost spells which, by their very nature, don't mesh well with the idea of going for "the highest tempo available".

    Again, I need to stress that this is not meant to be criticism against your deck. It's just, I noticed this contradiction the moment Yuriko was revealed, and it really bothers me.

    And speaking of cycling, there are a few of those, like Gempalm Incinerator and Decree of Pain, that can kill Grand Abolisher. So yeah, that could be one way to go about it.

    I mean ok, creating a situation where opponents are punished for attacking while you are free to prosper is a solid strategy that has great synergy with your spider commander, so as long as your opponents have creatures out you're going to easily take over control of the field, dictating the pace and removing anything problematic like pesky enchantments and artifacts (when it comes to removing problematic permanents, Jund i a great combination of colors)... But my issue is: what about decks that don't rely on creatures? What about those control/combo decks that just sit there, counter/remove only cards that diretly threaten them, and generally don't do much of anything outside of that, until they're ready to go off and win in one big turn? How does a deck like this deal with those?

    You know, whenever I see this idea of "the island was actually a monster" being explored in fiction, there is always a detail that bugs me: the fact that unsuspecting people built HOUSES on the back of the monster. I mean, houses aren't built by stacking bricks ON TOP of the ground, houses are built by digging deep WITHIN the ground to establish the foundations: if you were to dig into the shell of a giant lobster, wouldn't you realize that something is amiss?
