I have a Master Transmuter in play with haste and my opponent has a Jinxed Idol in play.
1. Can they sacrifice a creature in my upkeep to pass me the Jinxed Idol?
1.5 If they do that, can I use my Master Transmuter to swap it with something else before the upkeep trigger goes off?
When Sanguine Bond enters the battlefield, do you get to have target opponent lose life based on all the life you've gained previously in the turn or only after the card resolves?
This is what I found on the rulings of Panharmonicon but it seems like they contradict...
In some cases involving linked abilities, an ability requires information about “the exiled card.” When this happens, the ability gets multiple answers. If these answers are being used to determine the value of a variable, the sum is used. For example, if Elite Arcanist’s enters-the-battlefield ability triggers twice, two cards are exiled. The value of X in the activation cost of Elite Arcanist’s other ability is the sum of the two cards’ converted mana costs. As the ability resolves, you create copies of both cards and can cast none, one, or both of the copies in any order.
Abilities that apply “as [this creature] enters the battlefield,” such as choosing a creature to copy with Clone, are unaffected.
If I have a Panharmonicon on the battlefield and play Bishop of Binding, do I get to exile TWO creatures? And if so does target creature get +'s for BOTH creatures?
1. If I have two Shifting Shadows out on the battlefield on two different creatures what happens on my next upkeep?
2. What happens if I equip the same creature twice?
I was playing with someone and they said that I couldn't give away control of the creature enchanted by Illusory Gains because it contradicted the wording on the card.
Scenario one: I have a tapped Daring Thief on the battlefield as well as an opponent's creature with an attached Illusory Gains if I untap my Daring Thief and exchange control of the creature equipped with Illusory Gains the next time a creature enters the battlefield under my opponent's control I will gain control of it through the moving of Illusory Gains right?
Scenario two: I have a tapped Daring Thief and I swap control of a creature of mine and a creature an opponent controls with an enchantment/equipment attached to them, I won't gain control of the enchantment or equipment but it will stay attached until it is removed/moved to another creature by my opponent correct?
Ok so I can steal a creature with it the first time I target something and then everything else that enters the battlefield that it is attached to will stay under an opponent's control. Thanks!
Willbreaker says the "target of spells and abilities" Prison Term doesn't specifically say target but it is an enchantment, and enchantments have to target at least at first, so how do those two work together?
I have an isochron scepter out with a lightning strike on it. I also have a pyromancer’s goggles can I tap my pyromancers goggles to cast my copy of lightning bolt on my isochron scepter and will it copy the spell? It is technically casting the spell and it is red, so I say yes but wanted someone else’s opinion.
