Thanks. It is found in the "Painbow" deck and, even with Converge, it's a stupid card that ought to be replaced immediately. If it doesn't trigger Jenson, then I have no idea why they thought that would be better than Blasphemous Act or Chain Reaction!

General question about the Converge mechanic. All I've found is info talking about how many colors you can use to cast them as they have built-in cost fixing.

Radiant Flames is red, but, if I use red, white, and green, is it all three colors for the sake of cards caring about casting multicolored cards? Also, in similar manner, would "pro white" prevent the damage (eg: Mother of Runes)?

I know there have been three blocks released that take place on Ravnica, but I'm curious about incidental cards based on lore.

If I miss any, please fill them in, but the cards/ lore specifically on my mind at the moment are:

Command Tower (where does it sit?)
Core Set 2019 (it was released the summer of Guilds of Ravnica- do the cards flavorfully take place on Ravnica or are they just a random collection.)
Azor- is he Ravnica-based or was he just visiting when he became the Azorius Parun?
What Planeswalkers had their start on Ravnica?
Opposition Agent (it certainly looks like she could be on Ravnica.)
Agent of Treachery (Don't tell me this isn't the shooting image of a Dimir agent...)

I've spent time researching this, but I can't seem to find definitive info- especially concerning cards. I assume the only ones on Ravnica would have a Ravnica set symbol, but we've had so many things released, plus catchall sets like core sets that I'm wondering what all actually takes place on Ravnica (outside the obvious nine sets).

That makes sense. Thank you for the specification.

I gave Vindictive Vampire lifelink in a multiplayer game with equipment. My opponents don't agree with me that I gain 4 life (1 from the ability + 3 from the lifelink damage dealt to each opponent) whenever another creature I control dies.

    Who is right, and why?
I am more experienced, but I don't know how to articulate the rules to satisfy their novice minds; I want to say it's because the card says, "Vindictive Vampire" does the damage itself, and if VV has lifelink, then that damage is lifelink damage.
It's in a deck with a lot of "each opponent loses 1 life..." text, so I think that's why they disagree- plus I'm up 4 life every time they kill a token.

    Thank you for your time.

Wow! Thank you both for expounding upon this issue! I knew it was complicated, especially for a new player, but the ruling that makes it so is quite long-winded.

I teach a lot of new players, but I don't know the letter of the law per se, so sometimes it's hard to communicate when a player gets angry about me saying, "because that's just how it is... ." I fear they think I'm just trying to win, but I don't need to make up rules to win.

    To demonstrate understanding:
Royal Assassin would still destroy the attacking creature even if Assassin is exiled in response to tapping, because the target creature is still legal, and the tap ability only has one target when it resolves.

Boy, thank you both, again, for helping me parse this data. This was a hard one to articulate coherently.

It seems you've updated your response since I initially replied, stating it's not considered damage dealt, but rather loss of life.

I understand this, but I'm having trouble communicating with a new player.

They don't understand how this scenario is different than, when earlier in the game, I destroyed their creature in response to them casting Ram Through, stating that upon resolving, since their creature isn't around, Ram Through doesn't have a creature to reference power from, so it does no damage.

They reminded me of this when I brought up Marionette Master, but I know Marionette Master doesn't specifically state SHE is doing the damage; Ram Through states "Target creature you control" does the damage.

Can you help me articulate the difference specifically with more rules references? This situation caused me to lose the game because I just went with it rather than arguing (while waiting for a response), but that has bothered me a lot, so I'd like help knowing officially why these circumstances are different.

Marionette Master is on the battlefield.
6 Treasures are in my control.
I cast my commander with the treasures.
In response, my opponent casts Resculpt targeting Marionette.
Do I still do damage from the treasures or because Marionette is gone, her power is irrelevant?

That makes sense. I thought so, but I wasn't thinking about it in terms of ordering the triggers. Thank you for the clarification.

If I cast Batterskull from my library with Galea, Kindler of Hope, does it create and equip to the germ, or does Galea equip it wherever you want and the germ dies?

So if there were multiple targets chosen, they wouldn't each be dealt damage in triggered instances in the stack? All targets would be one layer of the stack?

Since you can divide ETB damage from Bogardan Hellkite, can you assign individual points of damage to Vrondiss, Rage of Ancients, or will it accumulate into a single instance of damage?

Can you target Vrondiss, then target B, then Vrondiss again?
