I would LOVE to see this. I wish the blue one were some kind of old school memory trip that involved counting Islands or destroying nonblue stuff, though.
I am 99% sure that this breaks something, somewhere. I'm not sure what.
It's definitely a headache in the making ("Target your Forest." "Uh...?").
Ah, that's what it breaks - Granted abilities. Abilities granted by Auras or one-shot effects are not placed in a specified position in the text box, so the word "first" in this card becomes very ambiguous. This could be corrected with an entry in the Comp rules stating that granted abilities are appended to existing text, but that would be a mess.
Then there's characteristic-defining abilities. Losing one of those is Very Very Bad, since it creates undefined characteristics.
Is the running theme of all three sets enchantments? Because I'm thinking of making a set (if you haven't seen my post in the Custom Card Creation forum) around artifacts and I'd like to incorporate it into a "block" that's already going. It's focus is artifacts/relics.
Yeah, all three are enchantment based. The next one's mechanics and storyline, as well as about fiffty-odd cards are nearing completion.
Arms-snatcher 3BB
Creature - Demon Rogue
Syphon, salvation 5
When ~ is put into a graveyard from play, you may move all counters from it onto target creature.
3/2
Symbol of Endurance 2WWW
Creature - Avatar
Flying
Other creatures you control have Endurance.
~'s power and toughness are each equal to the number of counters on creatures you control plus 1.
*+1/*+1
Other than that, i agree with meatball that the new plant wall is a 0/2.
It's hard to tell. It's a plane of all, after all- but power wise, I think they're mostly balanced. I see plenty of creatures, but not as many enchantments as there could be. And although I haven't read every single post (too lazy, sorry) I feel like you're missing some enchantment creatures.
I deicided to hold off on enchantment creatures and Aura Swap and the like, seeing as ALA is a couple months away, and there is the great possibility so far that it could be an enchantment set. I wanted to cut back on anything WotC did to keep my set unique from ALA.
It's like burning your christmas tree just to see it burn, or killing your dog just to see it bleed. Like backing over your little cousin's bicycle just to see her cry, or throwing your hamster out a window just to hear what sound it makes.
What I just described could be defined as a good or evil depending wholly on wether or not you trust in moral absolutes. If you do, what I said was a description of evil. If you don't, you could call it chaotic - which means different things based on how you look at it. The matter of what is good and what is evil - and how they both exist and why - is something that will never truly be solved or confirmed. We just have to know that there are people in the world who would harm us - call them evil, or whatever else you might call them - and we must watch out for them to save ourselves and those around us.
That's the biggest lie I've heard since advertisements for Kamigawa said it would be a fun block!
Seriously, Trow's Hide has great design, but memory issues do happen to suck. Try counters or something.
And Doran. When you're working with easy-to-activate toughness pumps, always remember how easily a Doran deck can break it.
Lol, targeting a forest meeans nothing happens!
I like this card. Very fun.
Limb leaper should say: (Cards without mana costs can't be played.)
Other than that, I'm not really digging the fact that there are so many new permanent types. I guess it could be fun, just don't go overboard.

....
Not sure what you mean, but I get all my art from deviantart - which should explain alot.
What do you think of the actual cards?
In other news, someone needs to tell King Ego that a dogfish doesn't count as a shark attack.
Actually one of them has *+5/*+5, so nope ^^
Since no one has guessed it, it's this: They all have spears. This plays a key role in the third set when the "Big Daddy" planeswalker will be made.

No name is necessary for such a human being.
Sorry, I meant to word that as "While they're being played".
In that case, this is a pretty cool design, but it seems nonred.
Wow, necro-ey. What do you mean, though? What does Coldsnap have to do with multiplayer?
