I'm getting my younger siblings into mtg, so I'm building decks for us to play together with.
I'm looking to make 10 cheap two-color decks. (mainly using cards I have/can get at the lgs/can buy cheap)
My siblings don't speak English yet, so I'm doing various things to reduce the amount of words on the cards.
For creatures I'm mainly using vanilla and french vanilla creatures and sticking to the keywords Flying, Reach (only on spiders), Menace and Trample. Using other keywords only for "bombs"(My sister loves Serra Angel)
For instants/sorceries I'm looking for spells with short text, that can be understood easily, and that can't be severely misplayed. (Unsummon is good, Trumpet Blast is bad)
Does anyone have suggestion for archetypes or cards to include? (specifically non-creatures)
Are there any search engines where I can choose a certain text length?
