I use the -8 ultimate ability on Ajani to create, for this example I will say I have 10 life, to create 10 2/2 Cat creatures. Each Cat comes into play as a base 2/2 but becomes a 2/8 with the Castles.
If I sacrifice a 4/8 cat to the Altar to create 2 colorless mana, funnel it into the array to create 1 any mana.
Long story short, does Proper Burial x4 award me 32 life for this single sacrifice? I have been under the impression that token creatures still go to the graveyard before resolving, so it should fire?
I threw in a couple Soul Warden's and created an insane loop. For 8 loyalty counters, I made 40 cats whom I then sacrificed with 4/12 Cat's.. I think I ended with something like 1600ish health. The absurdity of it brought me here for clarification. Thanks in advance.
I've been reading a lot about sleeping enchantments and other uses of soul sculptor. I have a life gaining deck which has been fun but wanted some clarity on some rules.
Here is the set up:
Soul Sculptor and Soul Warden are in play on my side. For this example, my opponent has a 1/1 red goblin with no abilities.
Now if I use the Soul Sculptor to make the 1/1 into an enchantment on his first main phase, its not a creature any longer and can't attack. On his second main phase, he casts another 1/1 goblin for ease of the example.
My first rule question comes up: When the new goblin comes in, I gain 1 life due to soul warden. It triggers the enchantment to return to a creature, Do I gain a life for this change? Does this returned goblin have summoning sickness also? I've read conflicting things about it.
Also, since I'm here, if soul sculptor dies while there are creatures made into enchantments with its ability, do they return to being creatures if he plays a new creature or do they stay enchantments because soul sculptor's ability is no longer in play to allow that?
