both are in top deck mode.
jund player has no creatures in the battlefield.
boss naya has 9/9 KotR with a sledge and a BBE on the battlefield which spells doom for the jund player.
You know what we need for the Hydra to be super effective? Bitterblossom for a green creature.
I admit to be disappointed by the green stuff WotC is pushing out for now. Where are the efficient token generators for Khalni Hydra to be more efficient?
This. Allies is not a legitimate competitive archetype. Point me towards a single sanctioned pro tournament in which Allies has proven successful. You'll have a hard time of it, because such a circumstance doesn't exist.
with only a fracture of the set spoiled, unlike other sets, so far it as failed me.
the eldrazi theme is far from spectacular and too linear as it reads play cards with spawn tokens and ramp up while ironically being slow.
the level up mechanic being sorcery speed hurts itself and encourages players to spend extensive crucial mana for levelling up only to be out tempoed.
totem armor is as boring as it can get and wizards are saying this negates 2 for 1? no it doesnt an instant speed removal will always keep it in bad shape.
rebound sounds promising though as it screams possible card advantage in the form of 1 for 2
what ROE needs to be spoiled is a meta defining card or a tool against the most threatening deck in standard as of the moment.
not to be a troll or anything but what exactly is hard to decipher at this point?
im no judge yet all things is clear to me regarding the 50 spoiled cards of the set and their corresponding mechanics.
From the first impression, the new standard after rotation will be slower.
Big costs, mana accel on the spot, so, the probability to cast 3 spells a turn is very low.
On the other hand, with rebound and some surprise effect you can get to the 3rd spell but only counter up to 2 of them,
Future will tell.
lol at this post.
during LOR/ALA t2 period, people said that "the format will be slower when LOR rotates" "big mana costs in ALA block and lack of good lands in the block means wizards wants to slow the next meta"
quote me on this, "standard will become even faster."
..and what happened in ALA/ZEN?
fast aggro for you! rendering almost HALF of alara cards (especially the BIG mana hungry cards) useless.

jund player draws a card.
plays it.
WHAM! BITUMINOUS BLAST targetting BBE. which cascades into BLOODBRAID ELF WHAM! which cascades into TERMINATE targetting KotR.
howl of the night pack and bestial menace..
i mean, a defender creature and a casual green card?
honestly, ROE has got me thinking twice of not attending the prerelease.
is this counted? http://www.neutralgrounds.net/index.php/post/index/237

not to mention blightning is running wild in standard.
and yes, i love rock decks.

if i have this, a hexmage and a gatekeeper in play and my opponent DoJs me, will i get 3 spawn tokens?
JUND gets another 2 for 1!!..
BBE > Realms Uncharted - search for a raging ravine, lavaclaw reaches, oran-rief the vastwood and verdant catacombs.. better than rampant in jund i think..!
so i search manlands, eye of ugin, eldrazi temple, tectonic edge and other land goodies.
plus the art is a sick homage to gifts ungiven.
definitely my favorite card in the set so far.
