Been brewing this list for a while
I think Jace works pretty well on it since we have tons of cheap spells, SCM and Pyromancer as a threat and a way to protect the Planeswalker.
I'm posting here cause I'd like some opinions or feedback
At 4cmc, and having either TBR and Stubborn Denial as possible cascade targets, I think that Traverse Shadow wouldn't want BBE on the deck's current form.
So, how do you guys think the unban of [card]Jace, the Mind Sculptor[\card] will affect GDS?
Pretty badly.
We're already weak against UWx Control Decks, and Jace just seals our coffin against it now that they can simply buy a lot of turns by bouncing our threats
Can you guys help me out with my Sideboard ?
I am not sure on how to build it for this weekend. My meta is pretty wild but i'm likely to see decks like GDS, affinity, big mana decks like Titan Shift or Eldrazi Tron, Burn and Value-based company decks. Might appear some taxes decks as well.
So, It's just something I've been thinking about but what do you think on going the full set of stubs MD with a Watery Grave + Breeding Pool ?
The idea came up as I felt that i feel the deck plays a smooth tempo-oriented game with a midrange backup on Liliana and Traverse, we disrupt our opponent with what I call "universal answers" on discard, land a threat (either a huge goyf or shadow) and try to beat up the opponent before he recovers. Therefore, we need something to protect our threats and Stubborn Denial, which is already used as a 3-of with a 4th on most sideboards is the perfect answer.
I believe adding the 4th stub would help us close out the game even further since we don't have snappys to flashback it or strong card filtering outside of bauble + fetch. Also, it's a card that answers 90% of the problematic cards that DS decks have to deal with, specially when backed up by discard spells.
I am not sure on what I'd cut for it but What are your thoughts on a 4th Stubborn Denial MD ?
I'm currently amazed by Grim Flayer as an additional threat. It usually turns on Delirium on just one hit and gives the deck some great card filtering. I've been considering swapping one Traverse for another Flayer, since I hate to have multiple Traverses on my opening hand.
How many Stubborn Denials have you been running MD and how many SB? On what kind of metagame it is better go with 3 MD and 1 SB and which ones do you think it is better to go 2-2 ?
Here is the list I'm thinking on playing. I like Breeding Pool since it helps us cast either Goy, Traverse or Stubs. But I could replace it for another Watery Grave, perhaps ?
I'm still trying to figure out a decent sideboard, What do you guys think of Dismember on this deck ?
I'm thinking on whether I play white with Souls + Ranger on Sb or if I try to play the Snapcaster + Kommands plan, which I am more used to since I play GDS for 5 or 6 months
What would you suggest ? Our meta tends to be pretty diverse and goes from stabilished decks to rogue builds like the Skred Red dek or Pack Rat and BW Tokens.
Any tips on playing this deck other than the bauble interactions ? specially about how and when to fetch and how to try to avoid as much mana issues as possible ?
The problem with Sultai is that you lose a lot in the sideboard, having acess only to Flaying Tendrils as a sweeper seems bad.
I think this could work but the best build for Tarmogoyf is still the Jund/5c Shadow deck.
Hey guys, I said I would test Opt over Thought Scour and here are my thoughts by now:
It DO makes the delve threats a little bit worse, specially early game since you can't cast them at turn 2 consistently without Street Wraith (Although there are times I did cast a t2 Angler ou t2 Tasigur with counter backup, but that means you depend on having two fetches and/or Street Wraith). They're still pretty good but become a bit slower which might be a problem sometimes.
On the other hand, it makes our draws A LOT SMOOTHER specially when we're searching for something (a threat, a land, an answer, etc.) which makes the deck grind a lot more and makes Snapcaster Mage way better.
My current thoughts on this thing is that you might need to: a) make the deck more grindy, which might not be where it wants to be with so many unfair decks running rampant, and b) I might want to try to run Liliana TLH maindeck again. I used to run 1 of her on my list a couple months ago because the local meta was too aggro and by the fact that she won me a lot of games all by herself. On that ocasion, she also helps to fill the graveyard with her -2 ability (although LotV does the same though)
I'm still gonna try it until mid January to have a deeper approach on which matchups gets worse by not playing Scour and how exactly it does or doesn't improve the deck. If anyone else is interested on trying it, please do post your results.

I'm thinking on bringing this deck to a 50-man tournament this weekend, but the meta has a fair amount of Blood Moon decks.
How does this deck plays against decks like Skred Red, Kiki Moon or Mono Red Prison ? What about decks with GQ and Field of Ruin ?
Would you rather play this or GDS in an meta where you expect a certain amount of those cards ?
I think this could work but the best build for Tarmogoyf is still the Jund/5c Shadow deck.
