I'm sorry but the art is awesome. That makes it THAT much better of a card. A perfect fit in my mono green aggro turbo tempo counter draw-go burn control edh splash red deck.

2.) Spreading Seas Enters the battlefield as an Enchantment, and then targets. Spreading Seas does not target as a spell. Ricochet is useless against it.

Wrong, you announce the target as you play it. That is why it is swerve-able

I have question about something in two head giant that a friend of mine said. i'm new to two headed giant so please bare with me and thanks chad or time. can both me and my partner have a play set of the same card in both decks and can we play mirror decks? the reason i ask is that we were both planning on using a mono red burn deck and he thinks that if their is a play set of the card in one deck that the partner can't have any copies of the card let alone a playset of the same card in their deck. is this true or has he been misinformed?

You cannot have more than 4 cards (other than basic lands) in both decks... In other words, you can only play 4 bolts in total... This rule was implemented to prevent 2x burn / 2x mill / 8 crypticcommand.dec decks.

How about if I take control of it while the ability is on the stack... Will I lose 1 or gain 1?

Somebody plays malakir bloodwitch... Is there a step or moment that allows me to cast a spell / use an ability before he gets to choose a target?

I remember going to some random tournament at a store I don't usually go to. And this guy, MAN he was taking at the very least 30 seconds to shuffle my deck everytime I fetched a land (and my deck had 8). Then, in the late game, when he was topdecking, he looked and separated his mana for freaking 2 minutes before playing another land and saying go. Worst case is, he was being serious. It wasn't even an attempt to go on time or anything. That ☺☺☺☺ threw me off lul

Not budget, it's availability mostly. I have trade stuff, you don't realize that people in my area have everything. I mean everything, they buy cases of card, then scour all the neighboring states and trade for everything they want, I mean they are strictly looking for foiled cards that go in vintage decks, ancient stuff that I don't own anymore (I should have never quit playing 13 years ago), Japanese foil, and crap like that, just stuff they want, not need.

But more to the point, did you even think what I was trying to say about Briarhorn? It's a freaking Giant Growth with legs, that can off itself to kill Bridges! Just because I'm not proclaiming I'm a Pro and that you should all bow before me you should at least give the idea better thought and come up with better reasons why something is bad than just X is better, Y is bad, Z should be shot. There is a bit from the quote in Mishima's sig that gives us a little insight into what cards are good for what decks, Dredge lives in it's own little world of Magic. This being said, what's to stop every deck from operating similarly. What I'm saying here is that while we can say that U/B Faeries has great cards, it operates in it's own sphere, we can't just fill it up with good sorceries, it's too different from the rest of the deck. Yes I polluted my deck with some sorceries, but that's because I CAN UNTAP ALL MY MANA ON MY TURN! ! ! MUAAHAWHAHAHAAH. Deranged lunacy aside, think about what Garruk and Ranger do. They allow for some crooked plays, like playing that Tidings off mana floated from between Garruk and Ranger, counter magic open. They individually still operate very well, each card does what it does, isn't fully reliant on other cards, and yet they work very well together. You pointed to a lack of synergy, but really it's a seething mass, yet not restricted or convoluted, okay not terribly so. Ranger is probably one of the weakest cards of the bunch and yet is still extremely good against any blue creature. Block random Rhox War Monks all day? Carry a Jitte through a field of Thopter tokens? Block a Nacromeba out of nowhere? (flash!) You don't have to like the cards you see, but at least point out why they are terrible. In the Bant thread mention was made of the fact that Troll was bad now, then someone explained why. Emphasis on explained. For instance in the case of Ranger, it has low p/t, although Flash speed, it doesn't outright change the board most times, the color it's protection against doesn't allow us to save him, no bouncing him with our spells, he is unlikely to trade with anything of value. Understand that the role of Ranger is none of those things in this deck, and yet can still do some of them versus some decks, it's role is to support the mana creature, add another faerie to make Spellstutter operate better, and fix part of the mana base when a land drop goes missed. The deck being in full Instant speed would make Ranger fairly useless and thereby not needed at all, but using some of the really powerful sorceries and planeswalkers, and Jitte make the Scryb Ranger quite decent.

And no, my remaining 3 Garruks will be with me till I die, I might get buried with them, no homo. Besides, I've had a playset of both Bitterblossom and Ancestral Vision, still have the playset of Ancestral, but I don't like it in the build I proposed, and yes I goldfished some hands with it, it's just a terrible topdeck. Even a bad one for U/B Faeries, the only day that Vision will get better to me is when I can cheat it onto the stack.

EDIT:: Just saw your response Johnny, I understand the feeling about Goyf, but I've never been impressed with just brute force. Every creature in my deck has abilities, I just find Goyf very Vanilla. And yes, the fetches I might be able to borrow, but I can forget about Bitterblossom, every one of the people that I know that has them is probably going to be playing them or having one of their teammates playing it (stupid really, I should get on a team but I play too sporatically, a year here, a couple weeks there, then maybe not again for year). Oh and don't forget that the Scryb Ranger is a Faerie too, it's 10 faeries I'm running that set off a Mistbind, not terribly less than a standard U/B version of 16, but 4 are lands that you might need to use to cast the Mistbind, and thereby not even acting as one when needed. Running a Champion creature can always lead to 2 for 1's, that being said I'm not sure that Mistbind is needed in my deck yet. . . I might get away with another Vendilion and a Scryb and another Jitte, I did like the variety though. Also Scapeshift doesn't run much removal either, and neither does Tezz Foundry, well not instant removal anyhow.

Yea, but for question #2, the mutavault isnt a creature anymore... Does he keep it anyways? If so, he can activate it / tap for mana as long as shackles is tapped?

I'm curious between the interaction about Vedalken shackles, mutavault and umezawa's jitte.

Question 1: Let's say I have two 2/2 mutavault (one equipped with a jitte) and my opponent has a shackles with 4 islands and a glorious anthem. I declare the attack step, so my opponent takes control of the equipped one. I decide to attack anyways. Can I still decide what happens with the counters on the jitte even if I don't control the creature it is equipped to since I'm the controller of the jitte? If I can, can I pump the mutavault I no longer control so it becomes a 5/5, giving it back to me?

Question 2: A player takes control of my mutavault... Do I get it back at the end of my turn when it becomes a land? What happens exactly? The ''target creature'' is no longer respected, so the ability fizzles?
