Still feels weak since it reveals and doesn't say "look at the top five, you may reveal a land" which would've been preferable
Feels boring and too practical.
He's essentially a worse Koth of the hammer for artifacts, with one more starting loyalty, but an ultimate which costs two more
Koth can ramp beyond his own cost the turn he enters, but Karn's ramp stones come in tapped.
He can't create a blocker to defend him, and his emblem artifacts which ping can be more easily removed than mountains against most decks or sideboards.
Perhaps if it performs well I'll be convinced otherwise, but I don't even feel the need to test this in Daretti, Breya, or Urza. Maybe Padeem wants this?
EDIT: Upon further consideration, this card is good, too good not to get copies of for Commander. In fact, dare I say it's better than mox amber. I'm just annoyed that Kethis, the Hidden Hand is banned in Pioneer
Is that surprising?
Several such cards already exist
Presumably, she uses her walking stick as a proboscis to inject her eggs
Personally, I'd rather draw Sphinx of Uthuun?
Stun counters could be good but annoying with proliferate
Wouldn't the permanents' controllers simply continue to reveal cards until all card type conditions among those exiled have been met?
The Mimeoplasm approves!EDIT: Nevermind, read it too quickly and thought two go to the grave, shuffle is not nearly as good
It's too bad it's not instant speed or search for different names as opposed to powers
Seems a bit restrictive and underwhelming as is
Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth approves!
I wonder what implications this has for Pioneer.
Will most people stop playing Liliana the last hope in favor of this, or use both?
117.3b The active player receives priority after a spell or ability (other than a mana ability) resolves.
117.3c If a player has priority when they cast a spell, activate an ability, or take a special action, that player receives priority afterward.
However, since many players will often shortcut passing priority after casting their spell or activating an ability without explicitly saying "...and I pass priority", if you're ever planning to respond immediately to your own spell or ability, it's best to add "and holding priority" or something to that effect so opponents don't mistakenly think you're silently passing priority and respond prematurely.
People have literally been saying or hoping for this ever since Chronicles, and bad decisions on the part of WoTC notwithstanding, look at where the market is at today!
